Even in the Tibetan New Year, not everyone wears traditional costumes. Men and children more often than not wear modern clothes. Though Namtso has not been opened as a tourist attraction, many people other than Tibetans come for a visit. Unavoidably, Tibetan people are exposed to the outer world. We do not know if this is good, we just wish the Tibetans will lead a happy and peaceful life as their ancestors.
