Shigatse is the second largest city in Tibet and also one of the two transfer station for visitor to hitch into Ngari or further Nepal. Ngari is at the pinnacle area of Tibet Plateau housing the loftiest mightiest mountains. It is the most distinctive part of Tibet, nearly cut off from outside world by snow from November to May.
