Id Kah Mosque Pictures

Groups of visitors are coming into and going out of the Id Kah Mosque.

Located in the center of Kashgar City, the Id Kah Mosque is the biggest mosque in China. It was built in 1442. Originally it was a small structure and now the whole complex covers 16,800 square meters (about 4 acres), after several renovations and enlargements. It has a courtyard, a Hall of Prayer, a gate tower as well as some other attached structures. Attraction Intro: Id Kah Mosque

I read in a book written about 100 years ago that there is place near Kashgar called Kohtuo, Chutoy or something like that, which other names could this place be called that I can find it on the map?

It seems the spelling of the place name is not proper. Could you give more description on it?!

Hi ,l recommend you come to kashgar in china ,one of my friends ,who from the USA ,he lived there for 6 month and almost he learnt Uighur language,
