Situated inside the Red Hill Park, the Red Hill is considered as a landmark of Urumqi. Since the mountain is made up of aubergine rock, it looks reddish brown, hence the name Red Hill. With an altitude of 910 meters, the hill is 1.5 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide from east to west. Inside the park, some modern entertainment facilities and ethnic performances are provided.
