Fengdu County is situated at the south and north banks of the Yangtze River. It is about 172 kilometers from downtown of Chongqing. The county was established in 90 AD of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is a noted cultural town since ancient times. It is world-famous for ghost city built according to the hell in Taoism and was renowned as the Town of Divine Comedy in the east.
