Stone Forest (12)
The Stone Forest is a representative of Karst landform. In the remote past, this area was in a boundless sea with limestone in it. Later, because of movements of the earth's crust, the limestone came out of the water. Then, over two million years ago, the limestone started to dissolve to form today's Stone Forest.
Dianchi Lake (2)
The Dianchi Lake is the biggest lake in Yunnan Province and also the sixth biggest fresh water lake in China. It covers an area of about 297.9 square kilometers at an altitude of 1,886 meters.
