The Qiongzhu Temple (Bamboo Temple) is a very notable Buddhist zen temple in Yunnan. It lies on the Yu'an Mountain in the northwestern suburb of Kunming City. There grow many ancient trees, which surround the temple beautifully. In the temple, there are colored arhats statues. These statues were accomplished in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) by the folk sculptor Li Guang and his apprentices. Seven years were spent on the whole project. Attraction Intro: Qiongzhu Temple
