Hi, I'm planning to visit xian end of January 2010. will it be too cold? any flight route suggestion from Malaysia to Xian? via Beijing or via Guangzhou will be nearer to Xian? will it be easy for me to get muslim food there?

Nov. 7,2009 04:42
Mr.Shan replied:

Yes, it is just the cold winter in Xi'an during Jan. So, please take your warm clothes, such as down jacket. Currently, there is no direct flight from Malaysia to Xi'an. So, you have to transfer at Beijing or Guangzhou. Although Beijing is much closer to Xi'an, both of the Beijing Airport and Guangzhou Airport supplies frequent flights to Xi'an everyday. So, you should consider an economical international flight to Beijing or Guangzhou from Malaysia.

what is the best way to get to the great wall of china from hongkong?..i plan to go to hongkong on 31st december and then to china to see the great wall on january 2 2010.how much would be the cost?

Nov. 7,2009 04:35
Mr.Shan replied:

I guess you would like to visit the Great Wall in Beijing? It is suggsted that you take a flight from HK Airport to Beijing Capital Airport directly. Since it is an international airline, the fare is a little expensive. For a cheap way, you could take a bus from HK to Shenzhen Airport fistly, and then fly to Beijing with a domestic flight. The real-time flight info could be searched at http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/

Dear All

I, my wife and son would like to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen Baoan Airport (SZX). Can you please advise which is the quickest and hazzle free method of travel. I prefer short queue at the immigration or customs. I will be travelling 10 January 2010. Are there plenty of tickets? Is it better to purchase the tickets online using credit cards to avoid disappointments?

Thanks. Tau Lim

At the Kowloon train station of HK, you could take the bus driving to Shenzhen Airport directly. You have to accept the customs check for two times but at one place on the way.
