Did they have any dangers in Silk Road? Like politicaly in 9th century? And what happened if you got sick on the way? And when was the best time to journey to avoid bad weather?

Oct. 21,2009 19:59
Mr.Lim replied:

No, silk road is very safe. In fact, you'd better make it clear that the silk road is acturally a connection of many cities from Xian to western countries. It is not simply a road. You should bring some medicines with you such as motion sickness pills and antidiarrhead pills. The best time to visit on the silk road is in spring or autumn.

I have a few questions...

What is the importance of Lusterware?
What were the uses of it during the times traded on the silk road?
How was it exchanged?
And what was its value?

Oct. 8,2009 22:01
Mr.Lucy replied:

Lusterware is an imporatant trade on the Silk Road as it was born in China and has great value for appreciation, collection and practical use.

It was used for decoration and appreciation. In fact, it is a luxury and mainly for royal use. The chinese merchants brought the lusterwares along the silk road and sold them to western countries.
