Day 01: Arrival in Xian

Upon your arrival, check in a local hotel. The rest of the day is for your rest or exploring around on your own.



Day 02-03: Xian

Cycle around Xian for city exploration.



Day 04: Xian - Famen
Cycle about 85km to visit Princess Yong Tai's tomb with paintings of palace servants and the fine carvings on the coffin. Then cycle about 40km to Famen.



Day 05: Famen - Baoji
Visit of Famen Temple, established for carrying forward Buddhism. Then head 102km west to Baoji for a visit of Jintai Taoist Temple. En route, visit the Zhouyuan Site in Qishan and Dong Lake in Fengxiang.



Day 06: Baoji - Manping
Cycle to Manping. En route, visit the Shennong Shrine, in the honor of Shennong, an ancestral hero.



Day 07: Manping - Tianshui
Partially using transport, cycle to Tianshui. Visit the Maijishan Grottoes, a Buddhist Grottoes, some of which dates from as early as the Northern Wei Dynasty.



Day 08: Tianshui - Wushan
Partially using transport, cycle to Wushan. Visit the Daxiangshan Grottoes.



Day 09: Wushan - Weiyuan
Partially using transport, cycle to Weiyuan. Visit the Shuliandong Grottoes, Baling Bridge and the Weiyuan Tower.



Day 10: Weiyuan - Lintao
Cycle to Lintao. Visit the Majia Kiln Site.



Day 11: Lintao - Yongjing
Partially using transport, cycle to Yongjing. Visit Liujiaxia hydroelectric Station.



Day 12: Yongjing
Visit Binglingsi Grottoes by boat. The Binglingsi Grottoes is carved on steep cliffs along the Yellow River.



Day 13: Yongjing - Linxia
Cycle to Linxia, a Muslin community. More than half of the residents in Linxia are Muslim Hui. Visit a Dongxiang People's home and experience local people's life including enjoying many folk songs and popular narrative poems and folktales.



Day 14: Linxia - Xunhua
Cycle to Xunhua, where Shala People live. 800 years ago, a caravan from the Central Asia settled down by the Yellow River and called themselves Shala.



Day 15: Xunhua - Tongren
Cycle to Tongren, the birthplace of Tibetan Buddhism Arts and Tibetan artists. Enjoy the Tibetan art and culture here.



Day 16: Tongren - Xiahe
Cycle to Xiahe. Visit Labrang Monastery, one of the six largest Tibetan monastic institutes.



Day 17: Xiahe - Hezuo
Watch the morning practice in Labrang Monastery. Then cycle to Hezuo and visit the Milarepa Temple.



Day 18: Hezuo - Luqu
Cycle to Luqu. En route, visit a monastery on a hillside.



Day 19: Luqu - Langmusi
Cycle to Langmusi, which straddles the border between Gansu and Sichuan. Visit the two large Tibetan Monasteries both in Sichuan and Gansu.



Day 20: Langmusi - Diebu
Cycle to Diebu. Visit a small mountain village and enjoy local people's life.



Day 21: Diebu - Zhouqu
Partially using transport, cycle to Zhouqu. Visit a small mountain village and enjoy local people's life and rural natural scenery.



Day 22: Zhouqu - Wudu
Cycle to Wudu. Visit a small mountain village and enjoy local people's life and rural natural scenery.



Day 23: Wudu - Nanping
Cycle to Nanping. Visit a small mountain village and enjoy beautiful scenery on the route.



Day 24: Nanping - Jiuzhaigou
Cycle to Jiuzhaigou, a great masterpiece of nature having dreamlike scenery and abundant natural resources. Have a good rest and get enough preparation for your next day trip.



Day 25: Jiuzhaigou
Explore Jiuzhaigou scenic spot to visit the Multi-colored Lake, Nuorilong Fall, Long Lake and the Pearl Beach.



Day 26: Jiuzhaigou - Chuanzhusi
Cycle to Chuanzhusi. Visit a mountain village and enjoy local people's life.



Day 27: Chuanzhusi - Huanglong
Cycle to Huanglong, partially using transport, which is a World Nature Heritage. Check in at a local hotel and have a good rest.



Day 28: Huanglong
Visit the Huanglong Monastery and the Multi-colored Pools with hundreds of steps.



Day 29: Huanglong - Zoige
Transfer along a rough road to the top of the pass and then cycle to Zoige. A horse back gallop over the blossoming Zoige grassland is fantastic.



Day 30: Zoige - Tangke
Cycle to Tangke, the First Bend of the Yellow River. Visit the fabulous Tibetan monastery Suokezang Si, which faces exactly the first bend. An overnight stay will offer you the opportunity to enjoy the sunset and sunrise over the spectacular site.



Day 31: Tangke - Hongyuan
Cycle to Hongyuan, which is also frequented as a must stopover, just like Zoige. Visit this small Tibetan town.



Day 32: Hongyuan - Shuajingsi
Partially using transport, cycle to Shuajingsi for a visit of a Scripture Printing House.



Day 33: Shuajingsi - Miyaluo
Cycle to Miyaluo, a small Tibetan and Qiang town. Hike for a few hours to the valleys around.



Day 34: Miyaluo - Taoping
Cycle to Taoping. Visit the Taoping Qiang Village. Enjoy Qiang People's ethnic life and their aged stone houses and watchtowers.



Day 35: Taoping - Chengdu
Cycle to Wenchuan and then transfer to Chengdu. Have a good rest in a local hotel.



Day 36: Departure from Chengdu
Cycle to the Wangjiang Tower Park and the inner city Giant Panda Reserve for a visit. Taste the delicious Sichuan Cuisine and enjoy the Sichuan Opera in the evening. Your tour ends here.
