The bull play is an important part in Miao minority culture. Bullfight is popular and customary in Miao regions. Unlike the bullfight in Spain in which a man flights with a bull, in Miao region, it is two bulls fight with each other. The bulls lower their heads and begin butting each other. More ofen or not, neither bull will give in resulting in stalemate. When the bull' head bleed from the wounds inflicted in fights, each side send ten young men to separate them apart. The side whose bull falls down or runs away from the arena is the loser.
