Day 01: Zhangye
Visit the Grottoes of Mati Temple. it could be, with kilometers of trails rising up along the high ridges, overlooking the Hexi Corridor. Aug.15th to Aug.18th is the tourism festival of Mati Temple every year. Enjoy the local life of Yugu Minority. 

Day 02: Zhangye
Visit the Drum Tower, Great Buddha Temple and Mu Ta (wooden pagoda), which is a brick and wooden structure that was first built in AD 528.
