Yangtze Three Gorges cruise tour

Day 01: Arrival in Guiyang
Arrive in Guiyang and get prepared. Stay overnight at the local hotel.


Day 02: Guiyang - Leishan
Drive to Nangong township located in very backwoods places in the Laishan via Kaili city and Fanpai village where could have shamans.


Day 03: Leishan - Jiaomi - Fangxiang - Leishan
Drive to Jiaomi Village. Start hiking for almost 7-8 hours in the national preserve area via Shihuihe village and get to Fangxiang Township. Drive back to Leishan.


Day 04: Leishan - Maomaohe - Jiaomeng - Baode - Xijiang - Leishan
Hike near Leishan for 3 hours, from Maomaohe Village to Jiaomeng Village and finally to Baode Village where you might find the shamans. Drive to Xijiang, which has been regarded as the biggest Miao village in China, contains 1000 families. Take a ride back to Leishan.

Day 05: Leishan - Basha
Drive to see Mr. Get-Out and his family in Basha Village. En route, pass through some villages and a town named Rongjiang. In Basha village lives a sub-ethnic group of Miao, though they are totally different from the Miao and strongly carry on their own extraordinary traditions and culture.


Day 06: Basha - Zhaoxing
Return to Mr. Get-out's family in Basha village and more and deeper communication with the family. Leave for Zhaoxing and arrive there in late afternoon. Explore Zhaoxing around for the rest of the day.


Day 07: Zhaoxing - Jichang - Guiyang
Drive to Jichang, an old Han Chinese village. Explore the region's remaining culture of the old Han (Chinese) ethnic group and watch local opera performance renowned for the performers' exquisite wooden masks. Afterwards, drive back to Guiyang.


Day 08: Departure from Guiyang
Leave Guiyang according to your schedule.
