Day 01: Arrival in Kunming
Arrive in Kunming and get prepared. Stay overnight at the local hotel.


Day 02: Kunming - Liuku
Take the late afternoon sleeper bus to Liuku.


Day 03: Liuku - Gongshan
Chartering a jeep from Liuku to Gongshan is around ?300, which is convenient for making stops at anywhere you like. Stay overnight at the local hotel.


Day 04: Gongshan - Dimaluo
Take a bus or chartered minivan north along the Nu River to Dimaluo Village, which is used as a base for travelers, but is also notable as one of Nujiang's numerous Catholic communities - the legacy of nineteenth century French missionaries.


Day 05: Dimaluo - Biluo Snow Mountain
Start trekking up the Biluo Snow Mountain(4652 meters) which is between the Nu River and the Mekong River, you will pass a village (Baihanluo) and a catholic church. Stay overnight in local villager's house or in the camp.


Day 06: Biluo Snow Mountain
Continue trekking up the mountain, you will pass a village (Layatong) and the mountain pass of 4000 meters, reach the village (Diwazhachong). Stay overnight in local villager's house or in the camp.


Day 07: Biluo Snow Mountain - Cizhong
Trek down the mountain to Cizhong town by the side of Mekong river, finished your 3 days trekking,(total trekking distance is about 50 kilometers). Visit the 100-year-old Catholic Church built by a French missionary, which is also the best-preserved church in Yunnan. Stay overnight in a local guesthouse.


Day 08: Cizhong - Minyong Village
Trek north along the Mekong River for half a day from Cizhong to Meili Snow Mountain (6740 meters), viewing the Minyong Glacier up the mountain. Stay overnight in a guesthouse.


Day 09: Minyong Village - Yubeng Village - Deqin
Trek to Yubeng Village and the Holy Waterfall, then trek down the mountain and take a ride to Deqin.


Day 10: Deqin - Zhongdian
Drive to Zhongdian. On the way, you will cross Mekong River at about 2000 meters, then climb up the White Horse Snow Mountain(5430 meters) and cross the 4200 meters mountain pass, then down to Yangtze River area at about 1900 meters, and up again to reach Zhongdian(3200 meters). You can visit the Dongzhulin Monastery en route, which is a very important monastery in Kham area.


Day 11: Departure from Zhongdian
Leave Zhongdian according to your schedule.
