Day One: Entry Beijing
TCG guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the baggage claim area at the Beijing Capital Airport according to your international (internal) flight schedule. Transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 3 nights stay and please relax for the rest of the day.

Day Two: Beijing
Stroll along the famous Tiananmen Square - the largest square in the world, and reach the Forbidden City. This afternoon, transfer to visit the Temple of Heaven.

Specials:  Peking Roast Duck Banquet & Peking Opera Performance
Meals:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 



Day Three: Beijing
Morning excursion transfers you to climb the China Great Wall - Badaling section. A spicy Sichuan cuisine lunch is served at a notable restaurant to recruit your physical energy. This afternoon, stroll across the Sacred Path and reach the Ming Tomb. The full day tour will be concluded after visit the Bird Nest (Olympic National Stadium) and the Water Cube (Olympic Aquatic Center).

Day Four: Beijing - Xian
Bid farewell to the city after having a stay at the Summer Palace. Fly to Xian to appreciate China’s long history. TCG guide will wait for you outside the baggage claim area at the airport ahead of the flight schedule and transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 2 nights stay. Take a visit to the City Wall afterwards and have a bird’s view of this city.

Day Five: Xian
Highlight morning excursion transfers you to visit the amazing Terracotta Soldiers Museum. This afternoon, visit the landmark of this city - Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day Six: Xian - Guilin
Proceed to the next stop after visiting the Shaanxi History Museum and the Great Mosque. Fly to scenic Guilin to enjoy the top landscape of China. TCG guide will wait for you outside the baggage claim area at the airport ahead of the flight schedule and transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 2 nights stay.

Day Seven: Guilin - Yangshuo
Highlight cruise excursion along the Li River will take you to Yangshuo. Upon arrival, TCG guide will transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 1 night stay. Then stroll along the west street, have a short cycling trip around the village (electric car instead) and pay a visit to a villager’s home.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Tips: The cruise lunch may not be as good as your expectation, please be sure you are well fed this morning at the hotel.


Day Eight: Yangshuo - Guilin - Nanjing
No scheduled tour plans this morning and you could walk around the city on your own leisure step. This afternoon, transfer back to Guilin airport directly to board an afternoon flight to the historical and cultural oriented city Nanjing. TCG guide will wait for you outside the baggage claim area at the airport ahead of the flight schedule and transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 2 nights stay.

Day Nine: Nanjing
The full-day excursion today will bring you to the  Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's, the Linggu Temple, the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, one of the biggest imperial tombs in China, the Gateway to Ming Tomb and the Confucius Temple Area.

Day Ten: Nanjing - Suzhou
Ride a soft seat train to Suzhou. TCG guide will wait for you at the railway station ahead of the train schedule and transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 1 night stay. Take a fascinating sightseeing tour to the Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest and most distinguished one among all of the gardens. Surely you should not miss a tour to the Tiger Hill and the Garden of the Master of the Nets the rest of the day.

Day Eleven: Suzhou - Zhouzhuang - Shanghai
Take a whole day sightseeing tour to the top water township of China which is famous for the well-preserved ancient residential houses, the elegant watery views and special custom and traditions. Have a stop at The Hall of Shen’s residence, a Qing style complex and transfer to 4 star hotel of Shanghai for 2 nights stay.

Day Twelve: Shanghai
A whole day excursion covers the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, the famous Bund area along the Huangpu River and a local family visit.

Day Thirteen: Shanghai Exit

Private transfer takes you to the airport and your pleasant China tour ends here.

A few places good for Shanghai side trips

1. Hangzhou, well known for the West Lake scenery, is 200 km away and reachable in 2-3 hours by train. Visit time: 1-2days

2. Jiading, an historic town with a confucian garden and pagoda, as well as beijing Shanghai's F1 track. It is about an hour driving of Northwest of Shanghai from Nanjing Xi Lu and Cheng Du Lu. Visit time: 1 day

3. Qibao, an small old town, the nearest water town from Shanghai, is about 15km from Shanghai city. No entrance fee. Visit time: 0.5 day

4. Suzhou, a historic town famous as the Garden City, also reputed as "Venice of the East", is about an hour train travel from Shanghai. Visit time: 1.5-2 days

5. Xitang, a historic town Southwest of Shanghai. A few scenes from Mission Impossible 3 were filmed here. An old picturesque canal town with old bridges and houses lining the canal lit up at night with red lanterns. You can even stay a night in one of the old houses and sleep in an old bed too. Visit time: 1.5-2 days

6. Zhujiajiao, also a historic town an hour by car west of Shanghai. Another of those picturesque canal towns dating from the Ming dynasty (14th to 17th centuries).

We had a very fancy experience traveling in China last year, the most unforgettable place we had visited is the Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. I suggest you not miss the Crown Cave on the way along the Li River, we have had a stop there and the cave is really beautiful.
