1st DayWuhu city - Jingting Mountain - China Crocodile Lake

Jingting Mountain is located in Xuancheng city and you can take bus from Wuhu to Xuancheng. Wuhu Bus station is in the opposite of Wuhu railway station, and the direct bus between Wuhu city and Xuancheng city runs every one hour and the transfer charge is CNY15.00 - CNY25.00 per person. The distance between Wuhu city and Xuancheng city is 60 kilos meters and takes you about one hour by bus.

Jingting Mountain is in the southern outskirts of Xuancheng city, and you can take a taxi to get there, it is about 5 kilos meters from downtown and costs you CNY10.00 - CNY15.00. Jingting Mountain is honored as the "Jiang Nan Poem Mountain" by the greatest poet in China - Li Bai for its beautiful scenery. The main sightseeing spots are Yifeng Hut, Taibai Pavilion, Guangjiao Temple and Zhaoting Lake. The entrance fee of Jingting Mountain is CNY20.00 per person and it opens from 8:00 to 19:00.

In the afternoon, we will go to the China Crocodile Feeding and Breeding Center - also called as China Crocodile Lake to have a see and it is located in the southern outskirts of Xuancheng city. China Crocodile Lake is not only a national nature reserve and scientific research base but also a scenic sightseeing resort. From 1987, this resort has built over 20 sites including the Bear Pool, Money Island, Deer Garden, Horse-racing field, Crocodile Show and etc. The entrance fee is CNY30.00 per person.

2nd DayXuancheng - Taiji Cave

Taijii Cave in Guangde County and you can take bus from Xuancheng Bus Station to Guangde County. The direct bus runs every 30 minutes from 7:00 - 17:30 and the transfer charge is CNY15.00 per person. When you arrive at Guangde County, you will find many tourist buses to Taiji Cave, the transfer charge is CNY8.00 per person. Taiji Cave is the national 4A Grade tourist attraction and it is a natural limestone cave. The entrance fee is CNY60.00 per person and the cable car is available from the foot of the mountain to the mouth of the cave, and the charge is CNY25.00 per person for round-trip. (Tips: It is better to bring a long-sleeves T-shirt since the constant temperature in the cave is 18 centigrade all year round.) There are two routes in the cave, from the left side it is the dry cave and from the right side, it is the dry-water cave. You can go to the left side first and back to entrance and then continue to visit the dry-water cave. In the dry-water cave, you will have a short cruise in the underground water. The general visiting time in Taiji Cave is 2 - 2.5 hours.
