Day 01Arrive in Beijing

Welcome to China! Your local guide will pick you up with private transfer at Beijing Airport. We have reserved you 3-star Golden Palace Silver Street Hotel with daily breakfast for 3 nights (Address: No. 31 Ganyu Hutong, Wangfujing Avenue, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006; Telephone: 86-10-8511 0388). If your flight arrives early, you're advised to the Wanfujing pedestrian street to feel the city atmosphere by yourself.

Day 02Beijing

After a breakfast , the guide will meet you at the hall of the hotel and transfer you to the suburb of Beijing. It is really a challenge to climb the Badling Great Wall at one fling. Then the lunch will be served at a local famous restaurant and proceed to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.(B+L)

Day 03Beijing

No escorted tour on the third day while the accommodation with breakfast is reserved for you. After visiting the historical palace and royal garden on the previous day's escorted tour, you should try some local snacks to complete your travel experience. Beijing is a city full of various snacks and many kinds of restaurants are found throughout the city.You're advised to take the No. 2 metro line to Qianmen (20 minutes) and see the reconstructed Qianmen pedestrian street, located in the central axis of the Beijing City. Compared with Wanfujing Street, it shows the old Beijing flavor in a better way. A collection of three streets (Qianmen street, Xianyukou street and Cloth Brand street), it depicts the vivid Beijing culture with long-standing stores, tasty Beijing cuisine, the typical Beijing yard and the Hutong Alley. Then you are certain to have a taste of the crispy Peking Roasted Duck at the famous Quanjude restaurant (32 Qianmen Road, Chongwen District, Beijing) which is the most notable among all the restaurants serving Roasted Duck. The ducks are cooked according to complex processes, roasted under strict requirements and usually served in slices with soy paste, shallots, cucumber and thin pancakes made with wheat flour. Day 04Beijing - Hohhot

At the last day of Beijing tour, the guide will lead you to explore the Summer Palace and see the lovely pandas in Beijing Zoo. After lunch, see you off at the airport to board a flight to Hohhot. Upon arrival, be picked up by the local guide at the Hohhot airport and transferred to register in the 4-star Zhaojun Hotel for 1 night (Address: No. 53 Xinhua Street, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia 010050, China; Telephone: 86-471-6668888).(B+L)

Day 05Hohhot

On the fifth day, head to the north and you will come into the Mongolian scenic spot. Visit the fantastic Gegentala Grassland and taste the Mongolian food in the herdsmen's tent. The hospitable natives will treat you with courtesy and you will also enjoy the ethnic Singing and Dances show with an overnight accommodation at the Mongolian tent.(B+L)

Day 06Hohhot - Datong

After having a local breakfast, return to Hohhot on the sixth day. It is scheduled to visit the Zhaojun Tomb (Zhaojun is notable as one of the four beauties in the Chinese history), a very important culture relic in Hohhot, attracting many tourists' attention every year. Next, head to the Five-Pagoda Temple (the Wutasi-hou Street, Yuquan District, Hohhot) and conclude the tour at Dazhao Temple. See you off at the railway station to board a soft seat train to Datong. Be picked up by the local guide at the railway station and transferred to the register at the 4-star Datong Hotel for 1 night (Address: 37 Yinbin Xi Road, Datong; Telephone: 86-352-5868555). Day 07Datong - Beijing

After whole night refreshment, you will be guided to visit the Yungang Grotto with 252 caves and 51,000 statues, displaying the splendid Buddhist cave art with many classic master pieces. The Datong tour won't complete without visit the Hanging Monastery where you wil find Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian elements mixing together. See off at the railway station to board an overnight soft sleeper train to Beijing.(B+L)

Day 08Beijing

Be picked up by the local guide at the railway station and transferred to register in the 3-Star Golden Palace Silver Street Hotel  for 1 night. Then our guide will assist you to have one day downtown visit including the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.(B+L)

Day 09Departure from Beijing
