- 2 Days of Leisure Time in Jilin City
Have you ever heard of Rime? Are you eager to appreciate this wondrous view in nature? If your answer is "yes”. Jilin is the right place for you to come. Acknowledged as one of the four natural wonders in China, Rime in Jilin is the most extraordinary among the other three, Landscape in Guilin, Stone Forest in Kunming and Three Gorges in Yangtze River. The most distinctive difference from the other three splendid sceneries is that rime in Jilin can only be formed and occur under some special circumstances and periods. That is to say, not every new comer is fortunate enough to enjoy it. As a matter of fact, rime is available in other places, but they can't rival that in Jilin both in scale and spectacle. In addition to the nice view of the rime, it also functions as the natural dustman to help to purify the air. Then you can breathe the fresh air when you admire the niceness. There is no rime in sunny, snowy and windy days. Normally speaking, rime is easily formed from Middle December to Fifteenth January. You are highly advised to come to Jilin at that time if you are curious about it. There are mainly 3 areas to see the best view: Ten Miles' Causeway in the city, Jinuoer area and Rime Island in Wulajie Town. You can see the most eyecatching Rime alongside Songjiang Road. Spend merry time here. In the afternoon, you are advised to visit Jilin Temple, the largest temple in northeast China. It is located in Wenmiao Street Changyi District.
