Day 01Arrive in Shanghai

Welcome to China! Your first station at Shanghai will be arranged by yourself. We will reserve the 4-star Golden Riverview Hotel for 3 nights with daily breakfast for you ( Address: No. 308 Heng Feng Road, Shanghai 200070, China, Telephone: 86-21 6353 7070). Please arrange the airport-hotel transfer by yourself and you may totally relax in the hotel to alleviate the long way flight fatigue.

Day 02Shanghai

On the second day, the hotel with daily breakfast is reserved for you. You may have a free tour in the People's Square (near the Nanjing Road) by yourself. In the north of the People's square stands the Shanghai's municipal government building. The Shanghai Grand theatre is located in the northwest direction. You may drop by the impressive Shanghai museum placed in the south of the square displaying the ancient Chinese art for the tourists. It has eleven galleries and three exhibition halls in total which are opened in turn every day. As a largest pubic square, you may find it's an ideal venue for watching local people and enjoying the water fountain. You could also kite on the square or feed the pigeons to have a relaxing day.(B)

Day 03Shanghai

Such a prosperous metropolis is worthy of a more free day visit. On the third day, we reserve the hotel with breakfast for you as well.  You could refer to the ready-made Shanghai free day suggestions. as a reference or explore the city to your heart's content.(B)

Mt. Huangshan scenery

Day 04Shanghai - Huangshan

Keep over some free time in Shanghai on the fourth day. Arrange the transfer to the airport and board a flight to Huangshan by yourself. We kindly remind you that the flight from Shanghai to Huangshan usually arrives late in the evening according to the flight schedule issued by the airline company. Please get prepared for that. Upon arrival, be picked up by the local guide at Huangshan airport and transfer you to the 4-star International Hotel (Tunxi town) with breakfast for 1 night (Address: No. 31 Huangshan Road, Tunxi, Huangshan, 245000, Telephone: 86-559-2565 678).(B)

Day 05Huangshan

On the fifth day, you will have about an hour transfer from the downtown area to the foot of the Huangshan Mountain. Then please indicate the guide to leave your large luggage at the foot of mountain (or a convenient place) as you still need to climb for a while after taking the cable car to the top of the mountain. From the Yungu Station with the cable car, you will immerse in the superb landscape. Come across the highlight scenic spots of Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Peach Blossom Valley, the Lion Peak, the Flying-over Rock and the Bright Summit to your heart content. You will stay overnight in the 4 star Xihai Hotel with breakfast for 1 night (Telephone: 86-559-5588 888) in the mountain.(B+L)

Garden of the Master of the Nets, Suzhou

Day 06Huangshan - Suzhou

You'd better get up early in the sixth day's morning if you want to catch the great sight of the sunrise.  Then return to the hotel to have a breakfast and proceed to tour in the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion and the Xihai Grand Canyon. Lunch is served at the hotel and you will descend with the cable car to reach the foot of the mountain. Transfer you back to the down town area and stroll in the Tunxi Ancient Street starting from the Zhenhai Bridge and ending at the Memorial Archway. Shops and stalls are good places for finding some antiques and knick-knacks. After having a dinner, bid farewell to the city and board an overnight soft sleeper train to Suzhou.(B+L+D)

Day 07 Suzhou

Arrival in Suzhou on the seventh day morning, be picked up by the local guide at the railway station and transfer you to the 3-star Gusu Hotel for 2 nights (Address: No.133 Xiang Wang Road, Shiquan Street, Suzhou 215006, Telephone: 86-512-65200566) to register in. The breakfast will be on your side and you may ask your guide for some advice. Drive to the northwest of the town to visit the Tiger Hill (Hilllock). It compasses many sightseeing in a small hill and you will see the historical sites. Then visit the largest classic garden of Suzhou, the Humble Administrator's Garden which stands for the typical Ming style gardens of China. Move on to the last stop by visiting the smallest garden of Suzhou, Garden of the Master of the Nets. Finish the tour and transfer back to the hotel.(L)

Day 08Suzhou - Zhouzhuang - Suzhou

On the eighth day, breakfast is served in your hotel and take an hour transfer to Zhouzhuang (southeast of Suzhou), the top water town of China. With 900 years history, the village still keeps the original scene and layout arrangements. You could stop at the Fuan bridge, double bridge and the famous Hall of Shen's residence in Qing dynasty style. Lunch is served and you will transfer back to Suzhou in the late afternoon.(B+L)

Day 09Suzhou - Hangzhou

The ninth day's morning keeps free. You may find some tasty local snacks for lunch in the No. 1 Suzhou commercial area or walk along the Suzhou pedestrian street to see the ancient buildings on your own. Bid farewell to the guide by boarding soft seat train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, be picked up by the local guide at the railway station and transferred to the 3-star Lily Hotel for 1 night (Address: No. 156, Shuguang Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou, 310013 China; Telephone: 86-571-8799 1188). The balance day is free.(B)
