Queli street, one block west of Queli Hotel, southwest of Confucian Mansion is the place in Qufu where you could find night markets for local flavor foods. There are only a few night markets in Qufu, also relatively small in comparision to Xian, Beijing or other mainstream cities. The spiced hot dogs are great and easily for all with even the most critical palates. They also have seasoned skewers/kabobs with beef/lamb and almost everything else. Also, they have bread grilled with some seasonings, some filled with meat stuffing, some plain. Everything was good! What's more, the price is dreadly cheap. Less than $10 could feed you very well.

Apr. 2006, Guangzhou. The taxi drivers the ones with official taxi logos are ok. However, take care with those drivers with cars offered in the hotel or fairs. They are very unprofessional and can drive you crazy with their behavior (smoke crazily, sets teh radio at high volume ).
