You will feel quite relaxed on Yangze River cruise, so open sandals will be convenient sometimes. While, for the captain's welcome party or farewell party, you may like to wear much formal. The whether in Oct is very good for touring, not too hot and not too cold. Hope you will enjoy the trip.

Regarding end of Yangtze River cruise, which airport will we use for departure?
Sep. 17,2009 19:48 Ms.Jenny replied:
Most of the cruises sail between Chongqing and Yichang, and there is only one airport in Chongqing and Yichang. Only one cruise Victoria Prince sails between Chongqing and Shanghai. There are two airport in Shanghai, one is Hongqiao airport and another one is Pudong airport, you need to make sure with the airline company for the exact airport you will use.
After the Yangtze cruise tour, we prefer to stay an extra day in Yichang for visit and stay at the Yichang Three Gorges Project hotel. The next day, we will take the train to Shangai. Is it a proper plan?
Sep. 17,2009 04:21 Mr.Hunk replied:
As Yichang is a small city and not famous for tourism, I think it is not worth to stay there overnight. Besides, the train from Yichang to Shanghai takes about 24 hours, it is really a long time and you will feel tired after the journey. Why not take flight to Shanghai instead.
The river has water all year round. The water level is low in winter and the cruise ship can not sail during this period. May is travel high season in China and the climate, the water level and others are all very suitable for travel.

Victoria Cruise Company arranges the visit to the Little Three Gorges. However, this may be changed to Shennong stream according to the water level.
