Mr.Suhas Sharmasaid:

How easy it is to visit Meixian from Guangdong?

Sep. 9,2009 21:53
Ms.Alda replied:

Meixian has its own airport. You can take flight from Guangzhou to Meixian. The tourism in Meixian is not as developed as in other big cities, so it will be difficult to find an English-speaking guide there. If you don’t know Chinese, you’d better invite a friend who can help you. You can also try to find a guide in Meixian, while the hire charge may be very expensive.

Ms.Tessa Murray (New Zealand)said:

Is China Hotel within walking distance to the main shopping areas such as Beijing Lu, Teem Plaza, China Plaza (Zhonghua Guangchang)or Shangxia Jiu Lu. As we have some free time in Guangzhou, it would be good if we can do some shopping on our own which is within walking distance from hotel. .

Sep. 1,2009 02:31
Ms.Kathryn replied:

Not quite near. It will take you about 10 minutes by taxi from the hotel to the main Shopping area, say Beijing Lu, Shangxia Jiu Lu, ect. You can take the taxi and it is very convenient. It costs about CNY20.00. While, the hotel is just near the Yuexiu Park, Liuhua Park and the walking street, you can take a leisure walk after dinner.

Dear Ms. Glenda Sagun, glad to see your enquiry. Apart from a guide, do you need other tour service, such as vehicle, meals or hotel? For Guangzhou part, we don't provide guide service only, while the package tour service is preferred. Hope for your kind understanding and please advise.
