Ms.Echo(USA)said:

What do you recommend as the best way to get from the airport to Regal Kowloon Hotel in Hong Kong? How long a ride will it be? About how much should it cost if we take a taxi? Alternatively, does the hotel provide transportation to the hotel from the airport?

Jul. 6,2009 19:23
Mr.Robert Lee(USA) replied:

I think I can give you some hint. Take a taxi from the airport to the Regal Kowloon Hotel which takes about 45 minutes and approximately HK$300.00 (include tunnel fees). Most people in Hongkong can speak English. Please do not worry about it.

We (5 of us) will be arriving in Hongkong on Sept. 2 and would like to go first to Shenzen from the airport and stay there for 2 nights before returning to Hongkong for another 4 nights. What would be the inexpensive best means of transport?

Jun. 30,2009 21:14
Ms.Grace Kon(China, HK) replied:

You may take the airport shuttle bus to the railway station upon your arrival in Hong Kong, then take an express train between Hongkong and Shenzhen, very convenient and economical.

The transportation in Hong Kong is very convenient and one can travel easily by himself. You can take the Skypier from HK Int'l Airport to Shenzhen/Shekou Port upon arrival. It takes around 30-40 mins and departs in every hour. The ticket is around USD25.00 per person.

Mr.Ashil Nichols,(United States)said:

When we reach Hong Kong, is it better (for first time travelers to HK) to stay in Kowloon or Hong kong? Is it difficult to go back and forth from Kowloon to Hong Kong?

Jun. 2,2009 22:11
Lily replied:

Hong Kong is divided into the Kowloon Island and Hong Kong Island. Most of the hotels are located in the Kowloon Island and most business centers are dotted in the Hong Kong Island. You'd better stay in the Kowloon Island. In addition, for the transportation from Hong Kong to Kowloon, it is very convenient for you to ride a Star Ferry back and forth.

Mr.Brian Smithsaid:

Can you give us some idea how far the Hongkong City View Hotel is from the airport and how much we should expect to pay for a taxi or is there a shuttle bus?

Jun. 1,2009 08:55
Paul replied:

It is about 35 km from the airport to the City View hotel. It takes about 45 minutes to take a taxi for the cost around HKD300.00 (include tunnel fees). Or you may consider the following ways as well.

Airport Bus: Route No: A21 - charge HK$33 per person; Operation Time: 06:00 hrs. - 24 hrs.

Route No: N21 - charge HK$23 per person; Operation Time: 00:20 hrs. - 05:00 hrs.

Airport Express: A high speed rail service operated daily from 05:54 hrs. to 00:48 hrs. Charge: HK $90 per person; Alight at Kowloon Station and take a taxi to the House.

Hope you will enjoy your days there.

Dear Sir/madam,
Good day. we have received a proposal from 18 traders from Accra Ghana to tour the commecial streets of HongKong for 3 days. Could you please advise if you can be of assistance.

Many thanks

May. 7,2009 08:56
Della replied:

Nana, Hong Kong offers easy access for self exploration tour that the English signposts and well-constructed transportations are nearly everywhere to be found. You will never have the feeling of loneliness or helplessness there. The shuttle buses run regularly between the airport and the hotel, you may also choose the Airport Express from the airport till the Kowloon station. The staff there almost can speak English. I think you can manage your HongKong by yourself.
