I've heard that the scenery of Huangshan is so so so superb. And I plan to stay at a hotel on the top of the Huangshan mountain and catch the sunrise in the morning of Apr 4th.Any advice?

Mt. Huangshan sunrise is quite a view, magnificent and touching. You can stay overnight at the top of the Mt. Huangshan and there are many hotels available. But limited by the local condition, the facility and the service of these hotels probably cannot meet your expectation. In addition, the possibility of seeing the sunrise depends on the weather condition. It is better you go in good season and check the weather report in advance.
Would like to know if Huangshan would be very crowded during the May holidays. Would appreciate your honest comment. If it is, we would plan another day to visit.

Huangshan is one of the hottest holiday destinations in China. Most people choose there for holiday. I suggest you avoid traveling from Apr 30 to May 04, which usually is the May Holiday if you prefer to have a leisurely trip. Apart from the crowded people, the hotel price and flight rates all will be higher than the normal time. Not a good time for traveling.
How long is the HuangShan Foot to HongZhun in Yi Countryand TunXi Street?

Hi friend, I guess HongZhun you mentioned is Hongcun? If so, it takes about 40 minutes from Huangshan foot to Hongcun and it takes about 60 minutes from Hongcun to Tunxi by car. Hope you have got the information what you need.

As I know, there is neither flight nor direct train from Shaoxing to Huangshan. I think bus is the only transportation means.
