I will arrive in Shekou this weekend. would it be easier to spend the night in Shekou then take taxi to Shenzhen airport the following day. Shekou looks closer to the airport and would negate the need to take a 1 hour taxi ride from Shekou to Shenzhen then another 1 hour taxi ride from Shenzhen to the airport.

It is true that Shekou is closer to airport than Shenzhen Downtown. If you have limited time, there is no need for you to go to Shenzhen downtown.
My colleague told me that Shenzhen custom near Lok Ma Chau MTR is not that crowded compare to the custom near Luowu custom, is it true? If so, pls guide us ( which building and direction) via email how should we go to the Shenzhen custom when we alight at Luowu or Lok Ma Chau MTR. How long it take to travel from Luowu and Lok Ma chau to Window of the world?

The train does not have a stop at Lok Ma Chau. If you would like to go there, you will have to take a bus. And as far as we know, the flew of people will be pretty much the same at both of the Shenzhen custom and Luowu custom. It takes around half an hour from Luowu and Lok Ma chau to Window of the world.

In Shenzhen, there are two Bus Terminals with buses to Zhanjiang. Departure time of the buses will be: 07:30, 08:30, 09:30, 10:30, 12:30, 17:30, 18:10, 19:00 and 20:30. By the way, you will need to spend about 6.5 hours on the way.
Dear Sir, I'm traveling on Monday to Shenzchen. My wife and doughter would like me to shop some silky pijamas and underwear but I don't know where to find that(if you have the address). You may try the big shopping malls in downtown city. Take a taxi and the driver will take you there. Or you can consult the hotel stuff who may give you a direction. Nothing difficult. Don't worry.
I wil reach ShenZhen at 24/6/09 and stay there until 27 then 28 morning only go HongKong..So, anyone of ur have any special itinerary for me for perusal? I have no idea where to go when reach ShenZhen since my planning going GuiLin is cancelled. And who know how many hours travel by bus from ShenZhen to ZhuHai?

The linear distance from Shenzhen to Zhuhai is about 50-60 kms, while the driving distance is about 160-180 kms. The most famoug highlights in Shenzhen are the Splendid China and the Folk-custom Culture Village.
I plan to visit Shenzhen at July 22,2009 I am Indonesian. My question is do i need to apply visa at Chinese embassy at Jakarta? or I can get visa on arrival? please tell me about the fee. Thank you.
