Ms.Anna Jo (United Kingdom)said:

It is also a great experience to take a bicycle trip in Beijing. We did that two weeks ago. Here I would like to share my experience with all the potential travelers.

Our routing went like this: One the first day, we started biking from the Temple of Earth Park, then followed by Lama Temple. Proceed westward, we stopped at the Temple of Confucius and the Imperial Academy. Later cycled to the Drum Tower and the Bell Tower. Lounging around Houhai Lake, had some coffee in the bars on the banks of Houhai Lake. In the end, cycled to the Prince Gong''s Palace and had a local dinner in a famous street full of Chinese restaurants.

On the second day, cycled to Sanmiao hutong, the oldest Hutong in Beijing. Then, walked southward through Jiaozi hutong to Niujie street where we visited Niujie Mosque and Fayuan Temple. Had our lunch in the Hutong area. In the afternoon cycled to Liulichang of shopping street. We also paid a visit to a local family and we were kindly invited to a family "banquet" with local dishes.

It is really unbelievably enjoyable. Have a try if you are interested!

Mr.Scott Audrey(United Kingdom)said:

Other glitzier Chinese cities don't quite have the Chinese essence that Beijing retains. Walking through the crazy traffic, hundreds of bicycles or windy hutongs, past red lanterns swinging in doorways, you can't help thinking, "Wow, I'm in China!"

Mr.Ali(Italy)said:

It's a pity that the Mao Dsedong mausoleum was closed for repairs when we do our China Tour. Although you have no control over that, but I was looking forward to it.
