We are planning to take the Silk Road Tour of China. We want to go to visit Urumqi, Kashgar, Turpan,Dunhuang, Jiayuguan, Zhangye,Wuwei and go back to Urumqi. However, after we searched more deep information about the itinerary, we found that we can not go back from Wuwei to Urumqi directly since there is no airport in Wuwei. Only Dunhuang and Lanzhou in Gansu province have airport. We have to drive from Wuwei to Lanzhou and take flight to Urumqi in Lanzhou. Any people here can suggest another better itinerary? And advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
