Hi, Can you tell me the name of exit #3 of the subway line 3 and 4. I'm trying to locate the eyeglass market called "Shanghai Sanye Wholesale Market of Eyeglasses", any help with the address would be very much appreciated.
Apr. 15,2011 04:18
Mr.Shan replied: 0 0
This wholesale market has three branches in Shanghai. The most popular one is located at the south square of Shanghai Railway Station. So, you could take the subway Line 1 and get off at Shanghai Railway Station. Choose the Exit 4, you will find the Huanlong Shopping Center just out of it. The market is located on 5F of this shopping center.
The other one is located at the Nanjing East Road. You could take the subway Line 1, 2 and 8 to reach the People's Square. Then, please follow the direction signs to the Nanjing East Road.

Well, from the hotel you could take the HK metro of Disneyland Resort Line to transfer to the Tung Chung Line to reach the Hong Kong Station. From here, transfer to the Island Line and get off at Admiralty Station. Out of the Exit B, you could take the bus 629 to reach the ocean park~ The metro fare is HK$20.7 per adult and the bus fare is HK$10.6 per adult.

Hello, I will be in Xian and I understand I take Airport shuttle bus from airport to bell tower, can you please tell me is this close to the Ibis Hotel
Nov. 24,2010 20:30
Mr.Qi replied: 0 0
Not close, out of walking distance at least, however that is the nearest airport bus route. Take a taxi from the Bell tower then. You may find many taxis there when you get off the airport bus at bell tower, but they are not going to the city part, but to the airport. So you may need to walk backward a little for taxi. Remember that the taxi fare is no more than 15 yuan.

We are Indian passport holders, kindly advice if single entry will be OK to go to CAN arriving, Lhasa etc and out from HKG.

Mr.Farhan replied: 0 0
single entry visa is fine. Tibet is a part of China, and as I know, Indian passport holders can stay in Hongkong 14 days without a visa. If you enter China Mainland twice, double entry visa is needed.

Lhasa...is just magical. Actually we didn''t really know what to expect but it is really something out of the ordinary. The main street, Beijing Road is full to the rim with fancy shops of every kind and you will find anything you need there. Tibetan culture and traditions are visible everywhere. Wherever you look at, your eyes will be met by surrounding mountains and tibetan wilderness like nothing else. You can see the tibetans in their traditional costumes. Their hair styles and accessories are really so unique and beautiful...
We visited the Jokhang Temple but since we were not religiously inclined, the temple and its history meant very little to us. However, it was amazing to witness the devotions of some of the pilgrims performing the body long kow-tows the entire day in return for better karmas. The Bakhor Street next to Jokhang Temple is Lhasa''s oldest street with colorful Tibetan features and houses. You can get souvenirs from here but that requires a very good skill of bargaining.
