The itinerary starts from developed South East China to the Tibet Plateau, the sharp contrast and the visual impact between the cultures, climate, custom and religion will be quite an experience! Xian, as an exceptional capital for 12 dynasties in history has left the city a lot to see and to feel; Beijing, as the present capital and the capital of Ming & Qing Dynasties in China, which has also endured humiliations during late Qing Dynasty. The old city and its people take the history as to be used for reference.

Day 02: Hongkong
The hotel accommodation with breakfast is provided today. You are suggested to have a half day Hongkong Island Tour in the Morning. Peak tram ride to mid-level of Central District, then to the Victoria Peak, visit the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market on your own. (B)

Day 03: Hongkong - Guangzhou
Morning is free. The train tickets from Hongkong to Guangzhou will be bought by yourselves at the railway station, which is quite easy. Take an afternoon express train to Guangzhou by yourselves. Our guide will pick you up at Guangzhou railway station and transfer you to the hotel. (B)

Day 04: Guangzhou
Visit the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the Five Ram Statue, the Ancestral Temple of Chen Family, the Qingping Market and the Shamian Island. (B+L)

Day 05: Guangzhou - Lhasa
Take a morning flight to Lhasa where the altitude is 3,650 meters above sea level. Transfer to the hotel and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. (B)

Visit the magnificent Potala Palace. After a western-style lunch, visit the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan family. (B+L)

Day 07: Lhasa
Visit the Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street. After having a western-style lunch, go ahead to visit the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. (B+L)

Day 08: Lhasa - Gyangtse
Transfer to Gyangtse. Stop off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake. Visit the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street. Check in at the hotel. (B+L)

You are suggested to visit the City Wall, the Great Mosque and have some free time to explore the Bazaar near the Mosque by yourselves. See off at Xian railway station to take an overnight soft sleeper train to Beijing. (B)

Day 14: Beijing
