Sure, you can pass the Friendship Bridge between China and Nepal from Zhangmu, Tibet. The Friendship Bridge is far from Katmandu, I suggest you arrange your transportation in advance.

Where from we should get the visa?

May. 31,2009 20:40
Michael replied:

To successfully apply for a Chinese Visa, you need to provide a valid passport, filled application form, and photos in person or through a third person for the Chinese Embassy in your country. The process usually takes 5-7 working days. You may check the following page for some useful information. http://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa.htm

Do not stay overnight at the Rongbuk Monastery. I took a trip with my fiancee to the Mt. Every Camp and visit the Rongbuk Monastery. We wished to watch the sunrise at the Monastery in the next day so we insisted on staying overnight there. Later, we regreted. There is only one guest house near the Monastery, the room is very small. Most awful thing is that, the room does not has the private rest room! We had to use the public rest room for shower! Breakfast at the hotel is very poor. We encountered another couple who came from Australia, they were also longing to watch the sunrise so they stayed at the hotel. Four of us all regreted but had to suffer a whole night. Worstly, we did not watch the sunrise as the weather in the next day turn out bad suddenly. :(
