Day by Day Itinerary

Departure: Daily

Day One: Entry Urumqi
TCG guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you at the Urumqi Airport according to your international (internal) flight schedule. Transfer to the 4-star hotel for 1 night stay and relax for the rest of the day.

Meals: None
Hotel: Xinjiang Grand Hotel (4 star) - former Holiday Inn Hotel

Day Two: Urumqi - Sayram Lake - Yining
Drive to Yining. En route, visit Sayram Lake, a fairyland with wonderful natural scenery. Upon arrival in Yining, check in at the local 4-star hotel to stay overnight. 

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Hotel: General Hotel (4 star)

Day Three: Yining - Nalati Grassland
In the morning drive to visit the Yili River Bridge. Proceed to Nalati Grassland to appreciate the graceful landscape. Stay overnight at the local guest house.

Day Four: Nalati Grassland - Bayinbuluke
Drive through the Tianshan Moutain. See the Bayinbuluke Grassland and the Bayinbuluke Swan Lake. Have an overnight stay at the local hotel.

Hotel: White Swan Guest House 

 
Day Five: Bayinbuluke - Kuqa
Transfer to Kuqa to visit the Dragon Lake and the Tianshan Mountain Canyon. Upon arrvial , check in at the 3-star hotel for 2 nights stay.

Day Six: Kuqa
Have a guided tour to the Kizil Thousand-Buddha Caves, the earliest Buddhist art treasure trove in China, even one century earlier than the famous Mogao Grottoes. Proceed to visit the Subashi Ruins and the Kuqa local Bazaar the rest of the day.

Day Seven: Kuqa - Korla
Drive to Korla along the longest sand road of the world through the Taklamakan Desert and enjoy the scenery of sand dune. Visit the Tiemen Pass in Korla. Stay at the local 4-star hotel.

Hotel: Loulan Hotel  (4 star)

Day Eight: Korla - Turpan
Today's driving will take you from Korla to Turpan. Stay at the local 3-star hotel for 2 nights. The balance day is left at you leisure to be off your legs.

Hotel: Oasis Hotel  (3 star)

Day NIne: Turpan
Today begins by visiting the Jiaohe Ruins witnessed the long history of Turpan, the notable 'underground Great Wall' Karez System and the largest extant Islamic tower Sugong Pagoda (Emin Minaret).

Day Ten: Turpan - Urumqi
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to visit the Gaochang Ruins standing in the desolate Gebi desert, the Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave and the Flaming Mountain. Return to Urumqi by driving and stay overnight at the local 4-star hotel.

Day Eleven: Urumqi Exit
The tour ends upon hotel check-out. A complimentary transfer to the airport is provided.
