Transfer to Turpan and check in at the hotel. Visit the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda. (B+L)

Day 03: Turpan - Urumqi
Visit the Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves, the Gaochang Ruins and drive by the Flaming Hill. Transfer back to Urumqi. (B+L)

We did the Kanas Lake part on our own. Because it is really expensive, the round trip airfare and the accommodation fee was high. And we should pay the ticket and hotel room for the guide, so we decided to travel on our own in this part. We took a long-distance bus at Nianzigou bus station to Buerjin county first, at the rate of 140 RMB. Please take the over night bus and you will arrive in the early morning. Then we transferred to the foot of Kanas Lake by the shutle bus. Local people there can speak simple English, just as the sales in every senic spots. We found a bed in the mid of the mountain at the rate of 300RMB room night. No buffet breakfast available, only simple Chinese food, but it is OK for us. The nest day we continued to visit. It is magical place. I loved the Moon Bay best.
On our way back, we paid a visit to Habahe County. A very, very clean place, with broad road, large part of grass land and trees. In the north of the county there is the quite place of water land and low grass. Horses, cows, sheep and camels walking and eating at their time. The sky is real blue. People travel with the traditional cart. A place worth your time and money.
