Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
This Bhutan travel from India starts once you land at Delhi Gandhi International Airport. Our experienced local representative will pick you up with a warm greeting, and escort you to the hotel. You will be free for the remainder of the day to take a good rest or get your first impression of the city after check-in.

Day 2 Delhi
This morning, you will be taken to visit the Raj Ghat and pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Later, we will go to Red Fort, the imperial palace built in the Islamic style of Mughal Empire (1526 -1857), and then the largest mosque in India named Jama Masjid. After that, a rickshaw ride is scheduled in the ancient Chandni Chowk where you may find some desirable souvenirs. After exploring the Hindu culture from the market, you will be guided to the outstanding Qutub Minar in south Delhi, a red sandstone building with a height of over 75 meters (246 feet) that attracts many tourists from home and abroad. Then, there are the majestic Humayun's tomb and the city landmark India Gate awaiting your visit. After sightseeing at the pretty Lakshminarayan Temple, our guide will take you back to the hotel.

Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur & check in at hotel, Jaipur bazaars. (B)
Today's Bhutan trip from India will take you to Jaipur. After checking out in the morning, you will be escorted to the roseate city. When everything is settling down, you can explore Jaipur bazaars, where you will experience the bustling markets and authentic urban life of the locals.

Day 4 Jaipur - Amer - Jaipur
Amer Fort, ascend the fort by walking or on an elephant's back or in jeep, Maharaja City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal. (B)
After breakfast, a visit to the Amer Fort will start today's Bhutan tour package from Delhi. Constructed in colored stone of milky white, light yellow and rose, the noble and elegant fortress glows and sparkles in the sunshine like eye-catching amber. You can ascend the magnificent fort on foot or alternatively either on an elephant or by jeep. Then comes to our next stop - the luxuriously and gloriously decorated Maharaja City Palace. Opposite the City Palace, is the Jantar Mantar, India's best-preserved historical observatory. Later, we will return to our hotel after visiting Hawa Mahal.

Day 5 Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Drive to Agra & transfer to hotel, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Afternoon is free at leisure and transport is at your disposal. (B)
Today a private transfer will take you to the next stop on this Bhutan travel packages from Delhi, Agra. En route, we will drop off at the grandiose Fatehpur Sikri. Entering from its 54 meters high gate of Buland Darwaza, you can catch a sight of the pretty Jama Masjid and many castle-like architectural complex and excellent stone carvings. Your car ride continues to Agra passing the red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri, and then you will check in at a cozy hotel. The afternoon is at your disposal for some leisure activities.

Day 6 Agra - Delhi
Taj Mahal, Agra Fort. Drive to Delhi & check in at the hotel. (B)
In the morning, our guide will accompany you to tour the Taj Mahal, the world famous pure white marble mausoleum built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. With its graceful dome and minarets, the exquisite Taj Mahal will be a highlight of your holiday packages to Bhutan from Delhi. Later, you will be led to the Agra Fort, aka Red Fort due to its massive red sandstone walls. There the delicate carvings of the interior are especially worth seeing after passing through the significant city walls. After that, we will drive you to Delhi and help you with check-in procedures.

Day 7 Delhi - Paro - Thimphu
Fly to Paro. Airport pick-up & transfer to Thimphu, Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge, Zilukha Nunnery, Thimphu Dzong. (B+D)
Today a morning flight will take you to Paro to continue this Bhutan trip from India after the hotel-airport transfer. Upon your landing at Paro airport, our local guide will greet you warmly and chauffer you to Thimphu. During the car ride, the Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge and the rustic natural scenery can be seen during a short stopover. Later, the Zilukha Nunnery and Thimphu Dzong with scenic surroundings will be waiting for you in Thimphu.

Day 8 Thimphu
National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma Statue, Motithang Takin Preserve, Thirteen Traditional Arts and Crafts School, Folk Heritage Museum, National Library, Traditional Paper Making Factory. (B+L+D)
After breakfast, today's Bhutan travel from India begins with the must-see National Memorial Chorten. Then, after a sight of the golden Dordenma Buddha Statue, you will go to see the national animal of Bhutan in the scenic Motithang Takin Preserve. Later, you will have a chance to learn more about local culture and customs by visiting the Thirteen Traditional Arts and Crafts School and Folk Heritage Museum. Next, the National Library will follow, and you can learn something of the handicraft skills of Bhutanese at the Traditional Paper Making Factory in the company of our guide.

Day 9 Thimphu - Punakha
Drive to Punakha, Dochula Pass, Chimmi Lhakang, Punakha Dzong, Suspension Bridge. (B+L+D)
This morning we will drive to Punakha to continue this Bhutan tours from Delhi. During the hour-long car ride, a stop at the Dochula Pass at an altitude of 3,150 meters (10,335 feet) will offer the great spectacle of countless Himalayan peaks covered under pristine white snow. When arriving at Punakha, our first stop would be Chimmi Lhakang along the Puna Tsang Chhu river, and then a tour of the Punakha Dzong, which was constructed as an "embodiment of Buddhist values" in 1637. Finally, today's trip will conclude at the Suspension Bridge.

Day 10 Punakha - Gangtey/Phobjikha Valley
Drive to Gangtey/Phobjikha, Rinchengang village, Gangtey Monastery. (B+L+D)
Today we will drive to Gangtey/Phobjikha for sightseeing. As the habitat of the famous black-necked crane in winter, the Phobjikha is one of the few glacial valleys with tranquil natural views. There are also the other 13 endangered species inhabiting the valley, such as muntjac, Himalayan black bear and leopard. After taking in the beauty of rolling hills, limpid rivers in the serene valley, you will be transferred to Rinchengang village to familiarize yourself with the locals' way of life and living environment. Later, we will go to the quiet Gangtey Monastery, which offers a wonderful place for you to take the birds-eye of the lush and green Phobjikha Valley.

Day 11 Gangtey/Phobjikha - Paro
Hike across Gangtey Nature Trail, Black-necked Crane Information Centre, Gangtey Primary School, Drive to Paro. (B+L+D)
Today a morning excursion will take you to hike along the beautiful Gangtey Nature Trail. After that, you will be led to Black-necked Crane Information Centre to observe the rare animals through the practical single-tube telescope. Later, after spending a leisure time with the children in Gangtey Primary School, we will chauffeur you to Paro and help you check in a hotel for a good rest.

Day 12 Paro
Hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest), Kyichu Lhakhang, Aum Chencho Farm House. (B+L+D)
This morning will be highlighted by a visit to Bhutan's most sacred Buddhist temple - Taktsang (Tiger's Nest). Perching in the 900 meters (2,953 feet) high cliff in Paro Valley, the Taktsang looks like a robust tiger sleeping in the wonderland hillside shrouded in clouds and mist. Alighting from the vehicle, follow our guide to take a walk to enjoy the picturesque landscape with sounds of waterfalls, deep river valleys and serene forest that surrounds you. After the spiritual baptism in Tiger's Nest, the guide will accompany you to sight-see the Kyichu Lhakhang and then a visit to the Aum Chencho Farm House will round off today's trip.
