Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
Your India and Sri Lanka tour officially commences upon your arrival at Delhi Airport. Our guide will meet you and transfer you to check in at the hotel. Firstly, visit a must-see attraction, Raj Ghat, to pay your respects to the national hero of India, Gandhi. Then our private vehicle will drive by the Red Fort for you to view this magnificent reddish sandstone structure at a distance. Next, our guide will take you to the largest mosque in India, Jama Masjid, to immerse yourself in its sacred ambience. Afterwards, go for a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, the most bustling market in Delhi, where you can take a peek at local people's life. Then move to the 73-meter-high (240-foot) Qutab Minar. It was built of brick in 1193, but still remained intact for thousands of years till now. Next, drop by Humayun's Tomb, the inspiration for the design of the world-famous Taj Mahal in Agra, and take pictures with the iconic India Gate as well as touring the gorgeous Lakshminarayan Temple.

Day 2 Delhi - Jaipur
Drive about 250 kilometers (155 miles) to Jaipur and check into the hotel to settle your luggage. As the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur is a romantic pink city, as pink roofs, walls and road signs can be found everywhere. The afternoon will be highlighted by a visit to Jaipur Bazaars for you to catch the heartbeat of vibrant local life. Plenty of saris and souvenirs are on display, and you can handpick some and enjoy a special bargaining experience.

Day 3 Jaipur - Amer - Jaipur
Amer Fort, ascend the fort by walking or on an elephant's back or in jeep, Maharaja City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal. (B)
Take a morning excursion to the most notable Amer Fort built in 1592. Made out of white, light yellow and rosy marble, the fort looks like a huge piece of amber, seen from a distance. A variety of palaces are housed inside, among which the Hall of Mirrors is the most resplendent for a gaze into the extravagant royal life of the past.We wil make a short stopover to take pictures of the Jal Mahal located in the lake center, then head for the Maharaja City Palace, one of the best-preserved historical monuments of India, and wonder at the ancient Jantar Mantar Observatory with its array of astronomical instruments. You will feel in awe of another architectural masterpiece, the majestic Hawa Mahal with numerous windows and take a photo from outside

Day 4 Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Drive to Agra & transfer to hotel, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Afternoon is free at leisure and transport is at your disposal. (B)
Today, you will be driven to Agra, and we will make a stop in the midway to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the renowned City of Victory. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fatehpur Sikri is a palace complex that houses numerous chambers, government buildings, mosques, gardens and a library. As Emperor Akbar married three women from different religions, the architectural style there varies a lot, featuring Islam, Christianity and Hinduism. After the tour, continue your India to Sri Lanka tour to Agra and check into the hotel.

Agra is a must-go destination in your Sri Lanka tour from India as two UNESCO world heritage sites nestle in the city, namely the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. As the symbol of India, the Taj Mahal is a grand and splendid mausoleum built by King Shah Jahan to commemorate his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. This tomb palace is the best Islamic architecture masterpiece of the Mughal Empire (1526 - 1857). Afterwards, pay a visit to the Agra Fort with a history of over 400 years. It is one of the most exquisite and beautiful forts of the Mughal Empire, boasting hundreds of maze-like palaces, chambers, towers and mosques.

Day 6 Agra - Delhi - Colombo - Negombo
Drive to Delhi airport, fly to Colombo, airport pick-up & transfer to hotel in Negombo. (B)
Today, you will be transferred to the Delhi Airport for a departure flight to Colombo, an entry city of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, our driver guide will welcome you at the exit holding a sign with your name. Then we will transfer you to Negombo and check into the hotel. Your India to Sri Lanka tour unfolds from here, and the remainder of the day is free for your own discovery.

Day 7 Negombo - Kandy
Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, Drive to Kandy, Spice Garden, Culture Dance Show, Temple of Tooth Relics. (B+L)
Today, your Sri Lanka package from India will be enriched by a visit to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala, where you could come across a lot of adorable elephants taking showers in the river. After lunch, we will proceed to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. En route we will have a stop at the Spice Garden. Upon arrival in Kandy, the Dance Show is the best way to feel the authentic folk culture, and you are more than welcome to join the locals. Afterwards, drop by the Temple of Tooth. Please take off your shoes and follow the other visitors to appreciate delicate carvings and fancy decorations inside the temple. At the end of the day, we will escort you to check into the hotel for a rest.

Day 8 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Drive to Nuwara Eliya, Royal Botanical Garden, Stop by Ramboda Waterfalls, A tea factory & Taste authentic black tea, Rest day is free. (B+L)
Our driver guide will meet you at your hotel and then transfer you to Nuwara Eliya this morning to continue your India to Sri Lanka tour. First stop goes to the biggest botanical garden of Sri Lanka, the Royal Botanical Garden, where your eyes can feast on a number of rare tropical plants. Then we proceed to Nuwara Eliya, on the way you will have a delightful stop at cascading Ramboda Waterfalls. After that we will stop by a tea factory for you to learn the local tea-planting history and taste the authentic black tea while enjoying the picturesque mountain landscape. The rest of the day is left for you to explore this beautiful small city filled with European-style buildings on your own. Lastly, you will be transferred to check in at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 9 Nuwara Eliya - Bentota
Join the Worlds End Tour (4 hours walk in a stunning landscape), head to Bentota & check in to hotel. (B+L)
Get up early in the morning and follow our driver guide to conquer a popular trekking route to the World's End in Nuwara Eliya. World's End is a famous cliff spot with splendid views. The walking journey takes 4 hours on the way. During the hiking trip, you will encounter fascinating natural scenery shrouded in morning mist. Please wear a pair of comfortable shoes. At the end of the trekking, you will be transfer to Bentota and check into the hotel for a good rest.

Full day is free for you to relax on the beach. (B)
A full day is left for you to relax on the beach in Bentota. You can fully indulge yourself in the beach paradise by taking a sunbath, swimming in the clear water, or joining in some thrilling sports like surfing and diving. Please note that today's expenses are on your side, and we only book the hotel for you.

Day 11 Bentota - Colombo
Visit a turtle hatchery, drive to Colombo, Galle Face Green, Colombo's National Museum & Gangarama Temple of Colombo. (B+L)
Check out of the hotel and head for a turtle hatchery on the way to Colombo. Upon arrival, your Colombo city tour starts with the exploration to the Galle Face Green. It is an enchanting coastal promenade, where you can see locals jogging, walking leisurely and flying kites. Then move on to the all-white Colombo National Museum to trace the history of Sri Lanka from abundant collections including stone carvings, bronze sculptures, gems, armory, and folk artifacts. Finally, visit the Gangaramaya Temple of Colombo, one of the most iconic Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka. With a history of over 120 years, the temple collects an array of Buddhist statues from various Asian countries. Return to the hotel and get ready for tomorrow's departure flight.
