Day 1 Arrival in Delhi
Welcome to India. On your arrival at Delhi Airport, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodate in our well-selected hotel. Your India and Thailand tour starts with a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi. Afterwards, we will drive by the Red Fort to admire its imposing Mughal architecture from a distance, and then visit Jama Masjid, the biggest and oldest mosque in India. Next you will enjoy a memorable rickshaw ride, crisscrossing lanes of Chandni Chowk bazaar. After that follows a visit to Qutub Minar, a soaring minaret built in 1192 by King Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Then, we proceed to Humayun's Tomb whose design is not unlike that of the Taj Mahal. Finally, we will take you to stroll around the India Gate to take some photos and visit Lakshminarayan Temple which is dedicated to the Goddess of Wealth in Hinduism.

Day 2 Delhi - Jaipur (274 km)
Today, you will be transferred to Jaipur by our private chauffeur. Upon arrival, our driver will assist you to get lodged in the local hotel. After a short break, you will be led to revel in prosperous local bazaars of jewelry gems, folk costumes, antiques and little gadgets. Shuttling through these crisscrossing lanes, you will savor the authentic side of local life. You may select some knickknacks as souvenirs, and remember to bargain for a good price. Lastly, you will return to your hotel for a good rest.

Day 3 Jaipur - Amer Fort - Jaipur
Amer Fort, ascend the fort by walking or on an elephant's back or in jeep, Maharaja City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal. (B)
Today's exploration starts with a visit to the Amer Fort. Built of milky white, yellow and reddish stones, the fort towering on the hilltop like a bead of amber in the distance, used to be the controlling fortress of Jaipur. After a short stopover to see the Jal Mahal, we will marvel at Maharaja City Palace which represents a combination of Indian and Islamic styles. Then we move on to Jantar Mantar Observatory to see ancient astronomical instruments. Lastly, we will proceed to admire Hawa Mahal from outside, aka Palace of Winds, which is a landmark of Jaipur with nearly 1,000 windows on a red sandstone facade.

Day 4 Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (244 km)
Drive to Agra & transfer to hotel, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Afternoon is free at leisure and transport is at your disposal. (B)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Agra by a comfortable vehicle. Fatehpur Sikri is on our way to Agra and we will stop there to view this reputed City of Victory. Its fort used to be the seat of the Mughal Dynasty from 1571 and 1585. The magnificent castle was built in multiple styles by Akbar the Great for his three wives of different faiths. Next we move on to Agra and check into a comfortable hotel. You will have some time to explore the area on your own.

Day 5 Agra
Taj Mahal, Agra Fort. (B)
Agra is an impressive destination in this India and Thailand tour, as it boasts two of the most rewarding architectural wonders in India, the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Firstly, you will be accompanied to visit Taj Mahal, a symbolic site of India, where you will marvel at the most beautiful mausoleum in the world and uncover the touching love story of King Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. Afterwards, approach to the iconic Agra Fort constructed in 1573 as an imperial residence with magnificent walls and imposing palaces. From the top of the fort, you gaze across at the Taj Mahal in the distance. Finally, you will be escorted to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 6 Agra - Delhi (231 km) & Delhi - Bangkok
Drive to Delhi Airport & fly to Bangkok. Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer. (B)
Today, our private vehicle will chauffeur you to Delhi Airport for a flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you at the airport, and then transfer you to the hotel for your overnight stay. The rest of the day is free for your own exploration.

Day 7 Bangkok

Your Thailand tour from India officially begins today and our first stop goes to the Wat Pho where you could appreciate the largest reclining Buddha of Thailand. Then you will stroll to the resplendent Grand Palace which used to be the residence of emperors. You will be accompanied to roam inside to admire abundant artistic works including paintings, carvings and decorations, and also admire the priceless emerald Buddha in Wat Phra Kaew.

After that, take a leisure cruise on Klong Bang Luang, and make a stop at Baan Silapin to enjoy Thai traditional puppet show. We will finally disembark at Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) to learn stories about the 41st king of Thailand. Later, you will be escorted back to the hotel for a relaxed overnight stay.

Day 8 Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Bangkok
A private drive takes you to Ayutthaya for a day trip, Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, Muslim Quarter. Return to Bangkok by a luxurious cruise on the Chao Phraya River. (B+L)
Today, you will take a road trip to Ayutthaya with the company of our private guide. The discovery of this ancient city starts with a visit to Wat Yai Chai Mongkol where you will glimpse the giant 28-meter-long (16-yard) reclining Buddha dating back to 14th century. Then continue the trip to Wat Mahathat, a time-honored Khmer pagoda. Wandering around, you may encounter the spectacular spot of a Buddha head statue wrapped up by tree roots. You may take a picture with it, but remember to crouch down to keep your head lower than the statue. Next, we will pay a visit to Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, which used to be the imperial palace of Ayutthaya, and then stroll to the Muslim Quarter to experience the blending cultures of different religions there. 

Lastly, take a slow-paced luxurious cruise on Chao Phraya River back to Bangkok while enjoying the gorgeous scenery along the way.
