Naadam Festival is the most famous festival in Mongolia and the largest National Day holiday in Mongolia. Naadam, which means "game" or "entertainment" in Mongolian, originally refers to the "men's three skills" (wrestling, horse racing and archery) competition to celebrate the harvest. Now it refers to the annual traditional event held on the grassland. At that time, Mongolian will travel thousands of miles to take part in the competition or only fell the happy atmospheres.

In Ulaanbaatar, Naadam usually be held from July 11 to 13 at National Sports Stadium. It is not far from the foot of Bogd Mountain, in the southern suburb of the city.
