Is Tipping Customary in Bahamas?
Tipping is common in Bahamas. For a taxi driver, the usual tip is 15% of the taxi fee. At hotels, it is BSD1 each bag for porters and BSD1 to BSD3 per day for hotel maids. At restaurants, it will automatically add a 15% gratuity to your bill. If you drink at bars, it is BSD1 to BSD2 per drink to bartenders.
