Best of Botswana with Victoria Falls

When you arrive at Maun International Airport, our driver guide or local representative will pick you up on time. Then you will be transferred to the guest house, which will take about 30 minutes by car.

After having breakfast, we will go to Moremi Game Reserve for a whole day's game drive. Lunch will be picnic prepared in advance. Moremi Game Reserve is located to the east of the Okavango Delta. Although less than 5,000 square kilometers, it is ecologically diverse. Not only there are vast forests, plains and lagoons, but also there are vast numbers of lions, leopards, cheetah, and African wild dogs. We will arrive at the camp in the late afternoon for dinner. After dinner you can enjoy the beautiful starry sky and have a good rest.

Today we'll explore Moremi throughout the day, except the hottest time in the day at the campsite for lunch and a nap. Moremi Game Reserve covers about a third of the Okavango Delta, where you will have a chance to see African elephant, African buffalo, impala, waterbuck, etc. You might also hear the calling of hyenas at night.

We will spend another full day game driving at Moremi today. If the water level is high enough, we can choose to explore the reserve by Mokoro. Mokoro is a kind of canoe made of trees. This unique experience of travelling in Botswana enables you to get closer to all kinds of animals and birds. Moremi has gathered more than 400 species of birds, such as African fish eagle, African skimmer, wattled crane, etc. It is a paradise for many bird lovers.

After breakfast, we will start to clean up the camp and enjoy the last morning game drive in Moremi. Then we will drive eastward to Khwai Community Concession. At noon, enjoy picnic lunch. The 1,800 square kilometer Khwai is rich in wildlife resources and has a large area of lagoon, pans, plains and wooded areas. The Khwai river plays an important role in the region. You can admire breathtaking natural views, not to mention a large number of carnivores and their prey. In general, the wildlife here has no big difference with the animals that live in Moremi Game Reserve, and you'll have a chance to see African buffalo, hippopo, lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, sable and roan antelope and more. We'll arrive at the camp in around late afternoon. If we have enough time, we will have a short game drive later. Finally, go back to camp to enjoy a campfire dinner and stay overnight.

Today we will spend a whole day in beautiful Khwai game driving. One of the highlights of Khwai is that it belongs to private concession, so we can do some walking with an armed ranger and have a game drive at night. And if lucky, we'll have a chance to see cape porcupine, African civet, Southern lesser galago, owls, nightjars and more. The Khwai area is also rich in bird species. You can take photos of these beautiful birds for memory.

After enjoying breakfast and doing morning game drive, we will head north to Savuti, and you can enjoy gorgeous viewing on the way. Savuti is located in Chobe National Park, which is famous for the largest group of lion prides in the world. We will arrive at the campsite in the afternoon and then enjoy dinner.

We will have game drive in the Savuti in the morning and afternoon. At noon, we will stay in the camp for lunch and a short break to avoid the hottest time of the day.

Today we will set off early to Chobe National Park. Upon arrival, explore this area by game drive. Chobe, built in 1967, was the first national park in Botswana and covers almost 12, 000 square kilometers. The Chobe River, which forms the northern boundary of Chobe National Park, provides visitors with a variety of game viewing opportunities. We will camp for two nights on the banks of the Chobe River.

Today we will game drive in Chobe, with a lunch and take a siesta in the camp at noon. Abundant wildlife, mild weather and stunning sunset scenery make Chobe the most suitable park for game drive and taking pictures in Africa, attracting professional wildlife photographers from all over the world.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River and then we will drive across the border into Zimbabwe to start our Victoria Falls tour. Victoria Falls is known as 'Mosi-Oa-Tunya' or 'The Smoke that Thunders' and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of The Seven Natural Wonders of the world. It is the largest waterfall in the world by water volume. After arriving and checking in the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day freely. You can go shopping at local curio markets, or take part in optional activities at extra cost, such as Sundowner Boat cruise on the Zambezi River, half-day Birding trip around town and the falls, helicopter tour over the falls and surrounding area, etc.
