Atacama Desert Adventure

Our driver and the guide will wait for you at the airport and escort you to the hotel in 25 minutes. After a short break, we will start the half-day tour in Santiago de Chile. First, we will visit Cerro San Cristóbal in the northeast of the city. The statue of the Virgin Mary on the mountain is the main landmark of the city. Afterwards, we will go sightseeing at La Moneda Palace from outside and wander around the Plaza de Armas'.

Today we will explore Maipo Valley. It is the nearest wine-producing area to Santiago and also the cradle of Chilean wine. The first stop is Perez Cruz which can be reached in 55 minutes. We will learn about the production of the wine, watch the large-scale vineyard and taste the fragrant wine. Then go to a museum in Santa Rita, another wine-producing place, which also has a museum exhibiting the cultural relics in the pre-Columbian era. After lunch, we will proceed to Cousiño Macul Winery. Then the guide and the driver will transfer you back to the hotel in an hour.

Today, we are going to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. They are both located on the Pacific coast. After breakfast, we will head to Valparaiso first. Here, you will see the bathing beach renowned as the Pearl in South Pacific and the characteristic graffito. On the hiking tour, we will go sightseeing in the Echaurren Square, port, old bank area, Concepción and Alegre Hills. Then drive to Viña del Mar to see the most famous Flower Clock. We will also visit the Fonck Museum and Anfiteatro Quinta Vergara. Finally, spend leisure time at Renaca beach. After the visit, we will return to the hotel for about 2 hours.

After breakfast, we will check out the hotel and set out to the next destination, Calama. Our driver will transfer you to Santiago de Chile Airport for a flight. After arriving in Calama by air, you will be escorted to the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama in 1.5 hours. In the afternoon, the guide and the driver will lead you to the quite famous Valle de la Luna and Death Valley. Valle de la Luna is named so because its terrain and landform resemble the moonscape. You can appreciate the golden desert sunset here.

Today, we will explore Atacama Desert and feel the magic of Atacama Salt Lake. First, we will get to Laguna Chaxa after 1 hour and 50 minutes. Here, you can see the flamingos flying high in the sky. Then after taking 1.5 hours' car, we will get to the beautiful Micanti and Miñiques lagoons. Afterwards, take the car for 20 minutes to Socaire, a charming town famous for the farming terraces. We will also enjoy a delicious lunch here. Then go on to Tocaonao Settlement and hike in Quebrada de Jerez Valley for 30 minutes.

Today's Atacama tour will first drive to Laguna Cejar in 30 minutes. It is one of the famous scenic spots in the Atacama Desert, which is well-known for its wonderful blue lake. This salt lake is regarded as the famous Dead Sea in the desert whose water is like a mirror reflecting the white clouds in the sky. Thanks to the high salinity, even tourists unable to swim won't sink in the lake. You can enjoy the warm sunshine there.

After the tour, we will take the car to Ojos del Salar where two lakes shaped like human eyes are lying. Finally, we will go to Laguna Tebinquinche, an oasis salt lake in the Atacama Desert.

Tatio Geysers is the first stop of today's tour. We will take along with our pre-packed breakfast and leave for our destination at dawn. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. More than 80 vents spray steam and boiling water in Tatio Geysers. You will see one of the most spectacular fountains in the world. Around it are the majestic volcanos, numerous springs and white mists. We will have our breakfast there. Then drive 40 minutes to Machuca which is dotted with a wooden church and thatch-roofed houses.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Santiago de Chile according to your flight schedule. The flight time is about 2 hours. After arrival, the local driver will pick you up and escort you to the hotel.
