Lijiang Train Schedule
Located in Shangji Village of Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang Railway Station is about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Lijiang Old Town. As a major station along Kunming - Lijiang and Qujing-Kunming-Lijiang railways, Lijiang Railway Station only operates trains to/from Kunming, Dali, Qujing and other nearby cities. Direct trains from Lijiang to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guilin, Guangzhou, Chengdu and other far places are not available and most passengers choose to transfer in Kunming.
However, a flight trip may be more preferable sometimes, especially in low seasons. For instance, flights to Beijing from Lijiang Airport take about 3 hours and the ticket fare may lower to CNY700 in low season; flights to Shanghai take around 3 hours and the ticket fare may be low to CNY650 when discounts are offered by the airlines; flights to Xi'an may just cost CNY350 for a 2-hour journey; flights to Guilin usually take 1.5 hours only and cost over CNY800; flights to Guangzhou take about 2.5 hours and cost over CNY700; flights to Chengdu take about 2 hours and the ticket fare may be low to CNY400 when a great discount is provided in low season.

00ReplyThe local transportation in Dali is not convenient. The best way is to take a taxi, the price is no more than CNY20 per car.

00ReplyNo direct train or flight between Lijiang and Qingdao. I suggest you take a flight from Lijiang to Kunming, then Kunming to Qingdao. Train will take much more time.

00ReplyYou can take bus No. 4 or 18 to reach the Old Town from station. Or you can go by carpool too, about CNY40 per person. To the airport, you can take a taxi to Lantian Hotel first and then take the airport shuttle bus to the airport. There is also bus No. 27 can be used but it is not very recommended as it runs on a small road and a little hard to walk to the airport from bus stop. Carpool is also frequently used, most hostels offer this arrangement, CNY80.
