Beijing-Hefei-Fuzhou High Speed Train

Beijing-Fuzhou High Speed Railway is mainly divided into three sections, Beijing-Bengbu, Bengbu-Hefei and Hefei-Fuzhou. A full single high speed train ride on it takes about 8-11 hours. Among the three sections, the Hefei-Fuzhou section is reputed as one of the most beautiful high speed railways in China, dotted with the famous Yellow Mountain, picturesque countryside Wuyuan, and unique Danxia landforms Mt. Wuyi.

Running Route

 Beijing-Bengbu: This section shares the railway track with Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Train, which was put into use on June 30th, 2011. The travel time along this section is about 3.5 - 4 hours.

 Bengbu-Hefei: This section has been in operation since October 16th, 2012. It takes about 45 - 65 minutes to complete the journey.

 Hefei-Fuzhou: This section has been in service since June 28th, 2015, shortening the rail travel time to 3.5-4.5 hours. After being opened, most high speed trains to/from Hefei has been transferred to South Railway Station from the previous Hefei Railway Station. Along this Hefei-Fuzhou section, there are many popular attractions, such as Yellow Mountain, Wuyuan (reputed to be the 'Most Beautiful Countryside in China'), Mt. Wuyi, and Mt. Sanqingshan. Its operation has brought great convenience for travelers to these sites. In addition, operation of Hefei-Fuzhou section has connected Shanghai, Xiamen and Nanchang with the above attractions via previously opened high speed rail lines. 

What to See along the Way
Along the way, there are a number of famous attractions, including time-honored architecture, and breathtaking natural scenery. The section between Hefei and Fuzhou is even praised as the 'most beautiful high speed railway' for its beautiful landscapes one after another.

Regular Trains along the Way
There are 2 pairs of them running between Beijing Railway Station/ West Railway Station and Fuzhou Railway Station. The durations are 20h08m and 34h55m respectively. The ticket fares are CNY703 for a soft sleeper, CNY456 for a hard sleeper and CNY251 for a hard seat.
