Day 1 Arrival in Bogota, Airport pick-up
Welcome to Bogota! The guide and the driver will pick you up at Bogota airport and transfer you to the hotel. Then it will be the free leisure time for you. Park on 93rd is a good choice to enjoy the nightlife, abundant in discos, bars, cafes and restaurants providing various cuisines.

Day 2 Full day visit in Laguna de Guatavita & Salt Cathedral
Today, we'll drive for 1.5 hours to visit the Laguna de Guatavita at very first, the legendary site of El Dorado. According to the legend, large amount of treasures has been hidden in the picturesque lake. We recommend you to wear comfortable clothes, shoes and bring raincoat, for we're going to have a short hiking and it rains often there. Then we'll drive to Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá, carved with salt rocks in the underground mine. It is reputed the Frist Wonder of Colombia.

Day 3 Bogota historical city tour, Fly to Armenia
After breakfast, the guide and the driver will pick you up from hotel and head to Mount Monserrate. We will then take a cable car to its top to have a bird's eye view of Bogota. Then we will visit Bogota's old city - La Candelaria, to see historical palaces, cathedrals and other buildings. Walking across Plaza de Bolivar encompassed by old architecture, you can know more about Colombia's history and culture. Walking on to Museo de Botero, you can see the paintings, sculptures and other art works of the national artist Botero. Later, we're going to walk to Gold Museum, also called Museo del Oro, where you can see various gold wares of ancient Inca civilization.

After that, we'll transfer you to Bogota airport to fly to Armenia. On arrival, the local guide and the driver will send you to the hotel and help you settle down.

Day 4 Hiking at the wax palms of the Cocora Valley
After hotel breakfast, our local guide and the driver will escort you to Cocora Valley. A large area of super tall wax palms grow there, which are Colombia's national trees. We will hike along the pathways through streams and jungles to get to the observatory, on which the whole wax palm woods can be seen. Then we will go for visiting Filandia about 40 minutes' drive away. It is a small town growing coffee plants. There are also some eye-catching old buildings constructed in colonial period.

Day 5 Visit coffee finca Hacienda San Alberto, Fly to Medellin
After driving for an hour, we'll get to Hacienda San Alberto, a highlight of this Colombia 2 weeks tour. At this local coffee finca, we will learn much about coffee of Colombia, such as how to seed the coffee plants, how to process the coffee beans, and the domestic and international sale status. You can also have fun picking the green coffee beans on your own. 

Afterwards the guide and the driver will send you to Armenia airport for your plane to Medellin. When you arrive in Medellin, get the private transfer service from hotel to your hotel.

Day 6 Flower Farm tour in Santa Elena
40 minutes' drive away from Medellin city, Santa Elena is the largest flower farm in the region. There are always flowers blooming around the year. This whole morning, we'll wander in the flowers' sea. In the afternoon, go back to the downtown and have a stroll along the road El Poblado with shady trees.

Day 7 Medellin Comuna 13 street art tour
The local guide will lead you to take the Metrocable, the special metro at local, to get to Comuna 13. On the Metrocable, the guide will introduce the history of Medellin as well as Comuna 13, the colorful district with distinctive graffiti. After strolling around Comuna 13, we'll take the Metrocable to Parque Arvi, the famous forest park. After today's tour, we suggest you go to Parque Lleras, the best nightlife place nationwide. You may taste special beef offal soup and experience Salsa dance there.

Day 8 Drive to visit Guatape & El Peñol
We are going to visit Guatape, the town that is 1.5 hours' drive away from Medellin. We will first climb the sided stairs up to the top of El Peñol, which is a rock hill 200 meters (656 feet) high. On the top, we'll see an extremely vast lake with dotted islets. Down to the town, we'll see every house is in multiple colors. In particular, the houses wear a "skirt" - three-dimensional patterns painted on the lower half of the walls, looking like the colored reliefs. The locals name this decoration as "zocalos".

Day 9 Fly to Santa Marta
Fly to Santa Marta, the next destination of this itinerary. As you get to Santa Marta airport, our local guide with driver will be ready to send you to the hotel. Then you can spend the rest time of the day as you like. Either hanging out at the downtown, or walking on the Caribbean beaches, is a good choice.

Day 10 One day excursion in Tayrona National Park
On arrival at the Tayrona National Park, we'll go hiking along the coast to Cabo San Juan del Guia, taking about 2 hours totally. On the way, we will pass by exotic beaches of Arrecifes, and later stop over to photograph at La Piscina, the ideal site for swimming and snorkeling. Finally, we'll reach Cabo San Juan del Guia, the silver beach hugged by green hills. We can see special local flora and fauna as well. Enjoy your free time next. In the late afternoon, we'll hike back and then return to the hotel by car.

Day 11 Full day trip to Minca
Head to Minca on the suburban mountain of Santa Marta, 45 minutes' drive away. It's a peaceful village with incredible natural beauty. We'll go to La Victoria, the coffee farm famed for its organic coffee. We will learn the basic steps to produce coffee and taste the fresh local coffee. Then we'll trek though the forests to reach Marinka, where the cool waterfalls, with the stream and the endless sound of birds' singing, would make you refreshed.

Day 12 Transfer to Cartagena, Visit Walled City & San Felipe Castle
You'll be sent to the bus station to take the bus to Cartagena. The bus will run along the Caribbean coast for about 4 hours. On the way, you can see the seascapes and feel the sea breeze. Upon your arrival in Cartagena, you'll be greeted by our local guide and the driver and transferred to the hotel.

This afternoon we'll have a Cartagena walking tour around Walled City, a UNESCO World Heritage. There're many Spanish buildings, sculptures, etc. inside the old walled city. Then we will visit San Felipe Castle, a historical military fort built to protect citizens from the attacks of invaders or pirates.

Day 13 Leisure day at Cartagena
It's a free day for you. You may go around Cartagena to sightsee what you're interested in, such as the monastery La Popa, the Monument to Old Shoes, the Monument to India Catalina, Church of San Pedro Claver and Las Bóvedas, etc.

Day 14 Airport see-off
Today is the last day of your trip. After breakfast you'll be seen off to Rafael Núñez International Airport. Wish your trip home smooth!
