Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to Beijing! On your arrival at the Beijing Airport, you will be greeted by your guide outside the baggage claim area, and be transferred to your hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you can arrange the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Beijing
At about 08:30 a.m., you will join a welcome meeting with your group members. Your guide will draw a self-introduction, brief you on our following China Nepal tour, and answer your questions about this trip. It's recommended to prepare your questions in advance.

After the short meeting, we will officially start our Beijing to Kathmandu tour package. The first stop is Tiananmen Square, an iconic site in Beijing where many important notional ceremonies are held. Next, you will be guided to visit the Forbidden City, a sublime witness to the history of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The various relics and treasures will take you back to the ancient China. After that, we will take you to a fancy restaurant for a la carte welcome lunch, which serves the Peking Duck.

In the afternoon, we will guide you to visit the 15th-century Temple of Heaven, where the emperors in Ming and Qing dynasties prayed for good harvests. At the end of the day, we will take you to watch a Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater.

Day 3 Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall with a round-trip cable car, A toast with red wine on the wall. (B)
In the morning, we will set out for the fabulous Mutianyu Great Wall. You will ascend and descend the wall by a round-trip cable car. It will be an unforgettable spectacle comprising of lush forests, boundless sky and the Great Wall elegantly extending into the distance. A toast with red wine served by us will memorize this moment.

Because of the poor condition of the nearby restaurants, lunch is not arranged for today. We suggest you have a hearty breakfast or bring something to eat. Your cordial guide will also give you advice. After that, we will drive you to a popular market, where you can explore at your own leisurely pace.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an
Summer Palace, Olympic Bird's Nest, A la carte lunch, Hutong Rickshaw Tour, Experience Chinese Paper Cutting, Fly to Xi'an, Airport-hotel transfer. (B+L)
In the morning, we will first visit the Summer Palace, once the imperial summer resort in the Qing dynasty. You will indulge in the peaceful lakes, traditional Chinese buildings and a relaxing atmosphere. Then we will stop by the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, for a photo opportunity.

Around noon, we will arrange you an a la carte lunch, serving both Chinese and western cuisines.

After lunch, we will take you to experience a rickshaw tour in the Hutongs - ancient streets between the Siheyuans. You will get close to the authentic traditional lifestyle in Beijing. After the interesting ride, you will have a Chinese paper cutting lesson and make your own paper cut. Later, we will continue to the next destination of your Beijing to Kathmandu tour - Xi'an. Your guide will escort you to the airport and help you board the flight. Once you arrive in Xi'an, you will meet your local guide, and be transferred to your hotel.

Day 5 Xi'an
Terracotta Army, A local family visit and an authentic home-cooked lunch, Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi'an Museum, Tang Dynasty Show with dumpling dinner. (B+L+D)
After breakfast, we will head to the world-famous Terracotta Army, the Eighth Wonder of the World. With your guide, you will marvel at the numerous warrior sculptures whose faces are all different from each other. At noon, we will visit a local family, and have home-cooked dishes as lunch. You will also have chance to learn the recipe of the authentic Chinese cuisines, from your warmhearted hostess.

After lunch, we will proceed to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda (the Jianfu Temple) built 1,300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a Buddhist temple. Next, we will guide you to visit the Xi'an Museum, with many ancient cultural relics and treasures on display. Tonight, you will enjoy a dumpling dinner while watching the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Since the theater is usually not open in Jan, Feb, Mar and Dec, we will not arrange the show and dumpling dinner for tours starting during the periods. Clients will enjoy free time to relax.

Day 6 Xi'an - Kathmandu
Observe local life in the park, Tai Chi practice, Xi'an City Wall, Fly to Kathmandu, Airport-hotel transfer. (B)
This morning, we are scheduled to visit the City Wall Park, a peaceful park located at the foot of the City Wall - a fortification built in the 14th century. You will not only observe the local lifestyle, but also integrate into them by practicing the gentle martial art - Tai Chi, under the guidance of the master we invited. After the relaxing exercise, we will round off your Xi'an trip by a stroll on the ancient City Wall. And then we will drive you to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu, where you will be picked up and given a hotel transfer.

Day 7 Kathmandu - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu
Pashupatinath Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Square including Nyatapola Temple & Dattatreya Temple, Changu Narayan Temple. (B)
Our Beijing to Kathmandu tour for today is full of UNESCO World Heritage sites. The first destination is the 17th-century Pashupatinath Temple, a pagoda-styled Hindu temple. As one of the most scared Hindu temple in Nepal, Pashupatinath Temple is rich in stories and legends, which will be told by your guide. Then follows an exploration of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, with many symbolic temples and pagodas from the middle ages. In the square, you will be guided to visit the most famous Nepal's pagoda - Nyatapola Temple, and the three-storey Dattatreya Temple with two sculptures of Malla wrestlers. Our last stop is Changu Narayan Temple sitting on a hill. Besides the artistic designs, you will also enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Kathmandu valley. After the visit, we will drive back to Kathmandu, and take you back to your hotel.

Day 8 Kathmandu - Patan - Kathmandu
Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kumari Temple, A photo stop at Taleju Temple and Kal Bhairav, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square including Golden Temple. (B)
After breakfast, we will leave for a Patan tour. Firstly, we will guide you to visit Swayambhunath Stupa - the most sacred pilgrimage site among the devotees of Tibetan Buddhism. Its unique designs, like the four faces of Buddha on the top, are popular to the tourists. After this, we will proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square rich in ancient temples and monuments. Here we will pay a guided visit to Kumari Temple with a living Goddess, and stop by Taleju Temple, a wooden temple considered one of the oldest Nepal temples, as well as Kal Bhairav featuring the vivid idol. Then follows a visit to the 5th-century Boudhanath Stupa, the most massive Buddhist stupa with unique designs. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for the giant spherical base and the golden spike top. We will conclude today's tour at the Patan Durbar Square, including the 12th-century Golden Temple, featuring the gold sculptures and carvings.

Day 9 Departure from Kathmandu

This is the last day of our Nepal tour from China. In the morning, we will take you to the Kathmandu Airport for your onward flight, and bid farewell. We wish you a memorable trip!
