Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Arrive at any time, Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer.
Welcome to Beijing, China's capital city! On your arrival at the Beijing Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your expert tour guide outside the arrival hall and be transferred to the hotel by the driver with his air-conditioned vehicle. After the check-in, you can arrange the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Beijing
A tour briefing, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, A la carte welcome lunch with Peking Duck, Temple of Heaven, Chinese Kung Fu Show. (B+L)
Enjoy your hotel breakfast this morning. At about 08:30 a.m., you will attend a brief welcome meeting with other group members in the hotel lobby. Your guide will conduct a self-introduction, brief you on the following China Nepal tour, and answer any questions about this trip.

After the short meeting, we will officially start our Beijing to Kathmandu tour package. The first stop is Tiananmen Square, an iconic site in Beijing where many important national ceremonies are held. Next, you will be guided to visit the Forbidden City, a sublime witness to the history of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911 AD). The various relics and treasures will take you back to the ancient China. You will also learn more about the lives of the emperors and their imperial families from your guide.

In the midday, we will take you to a fancy restaurant for an a la carte welcome lunch, which serves the Peking duck and other delicate dishes.

In the afternoon, we will go to visit the 15th-century Temple of Heaven, where the emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties prayed for good harvests. Besides admiring its unique structure, you will also see the leisure life of the local seniors in the large park of the site. They are singing, dancing, playing chess, or playing musical instruments, what a real life scene! At the end of the day, we will take you to watch a Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater.

Day 3 Beijing

In the morning, we will set out for the fabulous Mutianyu Great Wall. You will ascend and descend the wall by a round-trip cable car. It will be an unforgettable spectacle comprising of lush forests, boundless sky and the Great Wall elegantly extending into the distance. A toast with red wine served by us will memorize this moment.

Because of the limited restaurants around the site, lunch is not arranged for today. We suggest you have a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Your cordial guide will also give you advice on where to have a simple and inexpensive lunch. Afterwards, we will drive you back to the city area. You might be interested in exploring a popular local market at your own leisurely pace.

Day 4 Beijing to Xi'an by Flight
Summer Palace, Olympic Bird's Nest, A la carte lunch, Hutong Rickshaw Tour, Experience Chinese Paper Cutting, Fly to Xi'an, Airport-hotel transfer. (B+L)
This morning, we will first visit the Summer Palace, once the imperial summer resort in the Qing dynasty. You will indulge in the peaceful lakes, traditional Chinese buildings and a relaxing atmosphere. Then we will stop by the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, for a photo opportunity at close range.

Around noon, we will treat you to an a la carte lunch, serving both Chinese and western cuisines.

After lunch, we will take a rickshaw tour in the Hutongs - ancient streets between the Siheyuans. You will get close to the authentic traditional lifestyle in Beijing. After the interesting ride, you will have a Chinese paper cutting lesson and make your own paper cut. Later, continue to the next destination of your Beijing to Kathmandu tour - Xi'an. Your guide will escort you to the airport and help you board the flight. Once you arrive in Xi'an, you will be picked up by your local guide, and be transferred to your hotel.

Day 5 Xi'an
Terracotta Army, A local family visit and an authentic home-cooked lunch, Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi'an Museum, Tang Dynasty Show with dumpling dinner. (B+L+D)
After breakfast, let's head to the world-famous Terracotta Army, the Eighth Wonder of the World. Following your guide, you will marvel at the numerous warrior sculptures whose faces are all different from each other. From these real man-size terracotta warriors, we can understand the superb pottery skills of the Qin craftsmen.

At noon, we will visit a local family home, and have home-cooked dishes as lunch. You will also have chance to learn the recipe of the authentic Chinese cuisines, from your warmhearted hostess.

After lunch, we will proceed to the Jianfu Temple to visit the the Small Wild Goose Pagoda built 1,300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a Buddhist temple. Next, we will guide you to visit the Xi'an Museum, with many ancient cultural relics and treasures on display. Tonight, you will enjoy a dumpling dinner while watching the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Since the theater is usually not open in Jan, Feb, Mar and Dec, we will not arrange the show and dumpling dinner for tours starting during these periods. Clients will enjoy free time to relax.

Day 6 Xi'an to Kathmandu by Flight
Observe local life in the park, Tai Chi practice, Xi'an City Wall, Fly to Kathmandu, Airport-hotel transfer. (B)
This morning, we are scheduled to visit the City Wall Park, a peaceful park located at the foot of the City Wall - a fortification built in the 14th century. You will not only observe the local lifestyle, but also integrate with them by practising the gentle martial art - Tai Chi, under the guidance of the master we invited. After the relaxing exercise, we will round off your Xi'an trip by a stroll on the ancient City Wall. Most visitors enjoy cycling on the wall, would you like to have a try? Believe us, it should be a memorable experience. The bike rental is on your own.

Now, it’s time for us to head for the airport. Board your flight to Kathmandu, and after about 3.5 hours, you will arrive at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Your local guide and driver will welcome you there and transfer you to the hotel.

In addition to many places of interest, Kathmandu owns the unique geographical environment, pleasant temperature, year-round sunshine, trees in lush green and flowers in full bloom. All these make it a world-famous tourist destination.

Day 7 Kathmandu - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu
Pashupatinath Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Square including Nyatapola Temple & Dattatreya Temple, Changu Narayan Temple. (B)
Our Beijing to Kathmandu tour for today is full of UNESCO World Heritage sites. The first destination is the 17th-century Pashupatinath Temple, a pagoda-styled Hindu temple. As one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal, Pashupatinath Temple is rich in stories and legends, which will be told by your knowledgeable guide. Then follows an exploration of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, with many symbolic temples and pagodas from the middle ages. In the square, you will be guided to visit the most famous Nepal's pagoda - Nyatapola Temple, and the three-storey Dattatreya Temple with two sculptures of Malla wrestlers. Our last stop is Changu Narayan Temple sitting on a hill. Besides the artistic designs, you will also enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Kathmandu valley. After the visit, we will drive you back to the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 8 Kathmandu - Patan - Kathmandu
Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kumari Temple, A photo stop at Taleju Temple and Kal Bhairav, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square including Golden Temple. (B)
After breakfast, we will leave for a Patan tour. Firstly, we will guide you to visit the Swayambhunath Stupa - the most sacred pilgrimage site among the devotees of Tibetan Buddhism. Its unique designs, like the four faces of Buddha on the top, are popular with the tourists. Afterwards, we will proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square rich in ancient temples and monuments. Here we will pay a guided visit to Kumari Temple with a living Goddess, and stop by Taleju Temple, a wooden temple considered one of the oldest Nepal temples, as well as Kal Bhairav featuring the vivid idol. Then follows a visit to the 5th-century Boudhanath Stupa, the most massive Buddhist stupa with unique designs. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for the giant spherical base and the golden spike top. We will conclude today's tour at the Patan Durbar Square, including the 12th-century Golden Temple, featuring the gold sculptures and carvings. Finally, we will transfer you back to the hotel.
