There are two bus stations in Longyan, one is the old station at Renmin East Road of Longyan and the other is the new station. To get to the Hongkeng Village, you need to take bus from the old station. According to the search result online, the regualr bus from Longyan to Hongkeng is available about every one hour at a cost of CNY22 per person and the journey takes around two hours. You may also try to call 86-597-2291099 for more information and ask the time of the return journey when you get on the bus.

15 hrs layover in Xiamen - what to do?
I have a 15-ish hr layover in Xiamen (6am-10pm), arriving at Xiamen airport. This is my first time in China. What should I visit? Can I use public transit to get to the main sites from the airport or is taxi preferable?

Thank you!

You should visit Gulangyu Island, South Putuo Temple and Hulishan Battery. Xiamen is not a big city. If you want to take taxi, CNY20-25 is enough within the downtown area. Public buses are also very convenient. There are also two sightseeing buses covering many famous tourist attractions in this city.
