Day 1 Reykjavik Arrival
Welcome to Iceland. Our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.
Welcome to Iceland and join our 2 weeks itinerary! After landing on Keflavik International Airport, you will see our local driver waiting for you and you will be transferred to the hotel. You can move freely in the afternoon. It is a good choice to walk along the main avenue of Laugavegur to explore kinds of shops, restaurants, galleries and bars.

Day 2 Golden Circle
Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Hot Spring and Gullfoss. Taste tomatoes at Fridheimar Farm. (B+D)
After having breakfast, the driver guide will pick you and other group members up in the hotel lobby, and for the next a few days you'll have him or her to accompany you during the tour. Then set out for today's first spot Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site which is 45-minute drive from the center of Reykjavik city. Here you can learn about Iceland's history and its unique geologic landscape. Then we'll head to the Geysir Area, and one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland, known as Golden Waterfall's Gullfoss. Finally, we will stop at a farm for a short rest and then check in the hotel for dinner.

Day 3 South Coast Wonders - Vik
Lava Center, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skogafoss Waterfall, Black Volcanic Beach, Skogar Open Air Museum. (B+D)
In the morning the driver guide will lead you to visit the Lava Center, which showcases Iceland's volcanic and seismic activities over millions of years, giving you a clear process of how the earth's crust evolved and Iceland's unique geology formed. After the visit we are going to Seljalandsfoss Waterfall and Skogafoss Waterfall. Then visit the Skogar Folk Museum before driving to Vik town. Finally we will visit black volcanic beach to the south of Vik town. Tonight we will stay in Kirkjubæjarklaustur area and dinner will be served in the hotel.

Day 4 Skaftafell & Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon
Skaftafell Nature Reserve, take an amphibian boat to travel among the icebergs in Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach. Taste local ice cream. (B+D)
Today we're driving to the Skaftafell Area, one of Iceland's best places to take pictures, which is located in Vatnajokull National Park, the second largest National Park in Europe. Then we'll go to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. In the Jokulsarlon Lagoon, we will take the amphibian boat sailing between icebergs. Finally, the driver guide will send you to the hotel after you have a taste of home-made ice cream at a local farm.

Day 5 East Fjords
Drive to Egilsstadir. Take a visit to Petra's Stone Collections. Move on to visit Seydisfjordur and stay overnight at Egilsstadir. (B)
Today we will drive about 320 km (200 miles) to Egilsstadir, the largest city in eastern Iceland. Along the way is Iceland's stunning natural scenery and fishing villages with a long history. We'll also visit Petra's Stone Collections before arriving at our destination. Upon arrival, move on to visit Seydisfjordur. After returning to Egilsstadir, the rest of the day is free for you to move around.

Day 6 Lake Myvatn Area
Visit the most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss. Next go to Lake Myvatn Area to see the volcanic landscape of Dimmuborgir, and then Namaskard, a geothermal area. (B+D)
After breakfast we plan to leave for the north of Iceland to visit Europe's largest and most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss. Next we will go to Lake Myvatn Area to see the volcanic landscape of Dimmuborgir, which is a magnificent lava landscape. Then go to visit Namaskard, a geothermal area. Finally, enjoy dinner and check into the hotel.

Day 7 Asbyrgi - Jokulsargljufur
Whale Museum, Asbyrgi Canyon, enjoy a bath at Myvatn Nature Baths. (B+D)
In the morning, we will first drive to a small fishing village Husavik to visit the Whale Museum there, and then drive to Jokulsargljufur National Park to visit Asbyrgi Canyon, a horseshoe-shaped Canyon. Later in the afternoon, the driver guide will lead you to enjoy a bath at Myvatn Nature Baths, and you can relax in the comfort of natural hot springs while enjoying the surrounding scenery. Dinner will be served at the hotel upon returning back.

Day 8 Akureyri - Skagafjordur
Godafoss, stroll around the Akureyri city center. Go ahead to Troll Peninsula, Siglufjordur's Herring-Era Maritime Museum. (B+D)
The first stop we'll visit today is Godafoss, also known as Waterfalls of the God. Then we will go to Akureyri, where you can stroll around the city center. Then we will go ahead to Troll Peninsula to appreciate the beautiful mountains, cliffs, and fjords. After passing Siglufjordur, we will arrive at today's final stop Siglufjordur's Herring-Era Maritime Museum. After the visit, check in the hotel.

Day 9 West Fjords
See some old photos of the original appearance of village Holmavik, tour Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft Museums and the village of Drangsnes. (B+D)
Today we will drive to a quiet and remote area, West Fjords of Iceland, then reach a small village in Holmavik, with the journey of about 360km. Here you can see some old photos of the original appearance of villages, as well as tour Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft Museums. After a short ramble in the Village of Drangsnes, go to the hotel for dinner.

Day 10 West Fjords
Litlibær Open-air Museum, arrive at Isafjordur, take a round-way boat trip to Vigur Island. (B)
Today we will focus on touring the spectacular fjords and majestic mountains. First, go to Litlibær Open-air Museum for a visit and then arrive in Isafjordur, the unofficial capital of western Iceland and the largest human settlement in the West Fjords. Next, take a boat trip to Vigur Island. It is so quiet here that only birds' singing can be heard. Finally we will return to Isafjordur.

Day 11 Dynjandi Waterfall
Head to Sudureyri, arrive at Dyrafjordur Fjord, the Dynjandi Waterfall. (B)
We will head to Sudureyri after having breakfast, which is an Icelandic fishing village on the corner of the West Fjords. You can experience traditional Icelandic life and learn how Icelanders live on the Arctic. We then will drive to the south of Westfjords and arrive at Dyrafjordur Fjord, and finally reach Hrafnseyri, an old town in the Westfjords that dates back to the Settlement Era. The Dynjandi Waterfall will be the highlight for today; this masterpiece of nature is extremely spectacular and beautiful. Check into the hotel after arriving at Patreksfjordur Fjord and you need to have dinner on your own.

Day 12 Latrabjarg - Snaefellsjokull
Leave for Latrabjarg, the westernmost point of Europe. Take Baldur Ferry to Stykkisholmur. Visit Kirkjufell. (B+D)
We plan to leave in the morning for Latrabjarg, the westernmost point of Europe. The 444-metre-high Latrabjarg Cliff here is the largest birds dwelling cliff in Europe. Next we will take Baldur Ferry to cross Breidafjordur Bay to reach the charming village of Stykkisholmur at northern Snaefellsnes. Then tour the popular Kirkjufell, which is the landmark of the Snaefellsjokull Peninsula.

Day 13 Snaefellsjokull Peninsula
Highlights of Snaefellsjokull Peninsula, including Djupalonssandur, the Columnar Basalt rock formations at Arnarstapi. Visit the Black Church at Budir Village. Drive back to Reykjavik. (B)
Today we will visit highlights of Snaefellsjokull Peninsula, including Djupalonssandur, as well as the Columnar Basalt rock formations at Arnarstapi. Then we will go to Budir Village to visit the Black Church, Budakirkja. Finally, drive back to Reykjavik by car. The rest of the day, you are free to roam in the city.

Day 14 Reykjavik Departure
