Rome and Sorrento in Depth

The chaperon will pick you up at the FCO Airport, and send you to the hotel in the city center. Upon arrival, he/she will introduce the itinerary to you.

Accommodation: Hotel Atlante Star or similar

After breakfast, our tour guide will come to the hotel to pick you up for the Golf Cart Tour which starts at 10:00 am. You can enjoy the scenery along the road of Rome in a golf cart driven by the guide. After lunch, you need to arrive at Piazza Venezia at 3:00 pm to meet with another tour guide and then join the Colosseum & Ancient Rome Tour.

In the morning we will visit St Peter's Basilica, the largest Christian church in the world. When you arrive at Piazza San Pietro at 8:00 am and meet the tour guide, she/he will take you to go inside the Vatican City. After arriving at St Peter's Basilica, you will enjoy a complete tour from the Sacred Papal Tombs all the way to the top majestic views from Michelangelo's Dome. Between lunch and dinner you can arrange your schedule as you please. After dinner, please meet the tour guide at the front of Museum's entrance and attend the private tour to Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel starting at 8:00 pm.

A chauffeur will pick you up from the hotel at 8:30 am and send you to Rome Termini Train Station to take the fast train to Naples around 9:00 am. Arriving in Naples in about 1 hour and 20 minutes, a chauffeur will be waiting for you at Naples Centrale. After that, you'll travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Pompeii at the southwestern foot of Mount Vesuvius. After about 2.5 hours' visit, the chauffeur will take you to Bosco de Medici for lunch and wine tasting. Finally, we will drive to Sorrento to check into a local hotel.

On the fifth day, after breakfast a chaperon or chauffeur will send you to the Sorrento's Marina for a private boat leaving at 9:00 am. The Amalfi Coast was named one of the 51 must-see places in a lifetime by National Geographic magazine and is a wonderful World Heritage Site. The captain will choose the most scenic route for you to enjoy the breathtaking views. You will return to the dock around 5:00 pm.

Today we will explore one of the best-kept secrets in the Mediterranean, the Capri Island. Departing at 8:30 am, the chaperon or chauffeur will take you first to Sorrento's Marina and then you will take a ferry to the beautiful Capri Island, which has a mild climate, lush vegetation, with cliffs along the coast. You can see the remains of two medieval castles and the Blue Grottoes, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You will return to Sorrento around 4:30 pm.

The chauffeur will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am and drive to Naples in about 1 hour, where you will start to visit the Naples Archeological Museum at approximately 9:30 am. The museum's collection of cultural relics from the Roman times is unprecedented in scale and magnificence. After the tour, the chauffeur will take you to Naples Sotterranea for an underground tour. At noon, the chauffeur will send you to a Pizzeria, where you can taste the famed Neapolitan pizza. Its pizza-making has been named the "Intangible Cultural Heritage" of humanity by the United Nations. The driver will then drop you off at Naples Central Train Station so you can take the fast train to Rome at around 3:00 pm. Upon arrival, a chauffeur will pick you up at Roma Termini and drive you to a nearby hotel for check in.
