Highlights of Malta

When you arrive in this beautiful island country in the Mediterranean, our driver will pick you up at the Maltese International Airport and send you to St. Julians. Check in the hotel and the rest of the day is free for you.

Your best Malta private tours will start with a visit to the capital city Valletta. The guide and the driver will pick you up at the hotel at 9 am and then transfer you to Valletta. There, we will admire the magnificent Barraka Gardens, stroll through Triq Repubblika, and visit the historical buildings built by Knights of St. John. The St. John's Co. Cathedral, built from 1573 to 1578 and using a large number of gorgeous Baroque decorations inside, is the landmark of Valletta and known as one of the most beautiful churches in Europe. Next, we will head to the Mdina built on the plateau. It used to be the capital of Malta. The best way to explore this quiet town is by walk. You could stroll in the quaint alleys to find the ancient Baroque architecture and Cathedrals and magnificent bastion walls. 

After lunch, we will go to the harbour area and the Three Cities to visit Gardjola Gardens and Birgu which is the oldest city in this place. Afterwards, walk to the center of the city, walking through narrow streets and old alleys. At the end of today, the driver will send you back to the hotel.

Your driver and guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Blue Grotto after the breakfast. Starting from Blue Grotto, we will make a trip to the south of the Malta Island. We will first appreciate the picturesque scenery here and then enjoy a boat tour for about 25 minutes. Then go to the Hagar QIM site, where you can see the huge stone slabs whose history can be traced back to 3300 BC. 

The next stop is Marsaxlokk, a quaint fishing village on the south coast. For tourists who like fresh fish, there are many high-quality restaurants to choose from. And you will be given free time for lunch at your own cost. In the afternoon, continue to visit the Tarxien Temple Ruins, UNESCO World Heritage Site - Hal Saflieni Hypogeum and Ghar Dalam Cave. In the end, the driver will escort you back to the hotel.

Today we will start at 7:45 am. First we will take a 25-minute ferry ride to the charming island of Gozo. There, we will visit the ancient megalithic Ggantija temple, the legendary Calypso's Cave and enjoy the magnificent view of the red sands of Ramla Bay. Before lunch, we will also make stop at Fontana Cottage to taste local delicacies, such as sun-dried tomatoes, olive paste, local cheese, and wine. Around noon, you will be left some free time for lunch in the beautiful Xlendi Bay. 

After lunch, we will continue to visit Dwejra Bay, one of the most visited attractions in Gozo. Here, you could choose to join an optional boat tour to the Inland Sea, which costs eur7 and you need to pay on the site. The last stop on Gozo Island is Victoria City and The Citade. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire island by climbing up to the fortified wall of The Citade. Finally, we will return to the ferry terminal and then take the ferry back to the Malta main island.
