The best time to visit Mexico is during the dry season between December and April. And from May to September, most Mexican beach destinations are less busy, as it gets very hot and humid.

The best time to visit the Riviera Maya (Cancun, Tulum and Playa del Carmen) is from February to April. Is Tourist Visa Required for Mexico Tours?

All tourists travelling to Mexico need Mexico tourist card, but not all needs a visa. The Mexican tourist card is not a visa and it is obtained by filling in a multiple immigration form (FMM). This form can be either completed online before departure or at the airport you are arriving in Mexico. It will be stamped by Mexican immigration upon entering Mexico and must be kept until your departure.

Citizens of the US, EU, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand do not need a visa, but only need to obtain a tourist card. For other nationals, it is suggested to check details with local Mexican Embassy.
