A bird's eye view of Forbidden City
Coming out of Forbidden City from the Gate of Divine Prowess, Jingshan Park is in front of us, the next stop of our Forbidden City walking tour. Lying on the central axis of Beijing, Jingshan Park is originally a royal garden of the Yuan (1271-1368 AD), Ming (1368-1644 AD) and Qing (1644-1911 AD) dynasties. The Wanchun Pavilion in the park is the highest point there, from where you can overlook the whole Forbidden City and other landmarks in Beijing. It takes about 10 minutes to climb to the Wanchun Pavilion. If you have enough physical strength, we strongly suggest you do not miss it. If you don't want to climb the steps, you can also stroll around the park to enjoy the beautiful views and get a glimpse of the daily life of the locals.

Beijing is foodies'paradise. In order to make sure you eat the right food to your taste, we leave the opportunity for you to arrange your lunch on your own. Of course, your guide will be glad to offer you some advice.
