Day 1 Xi'an
Xi'an Terracotta Army
Terracotta Army
In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel on time and then drive for an hour to the first stop of your Xi'an private tour - Terracotta Army. Known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, it is a large-scale underground army built as the burial objects in Qin Dynasty (221 - 207 BC) to protect the Emperor Qin Shi Huang after his death. Now, three pits have been opened to the public with quantities of unearthed pottery warriors, horses and bronzewares. These warriors in battle formation have covered infantry, archer, cavalry and chariot soldiers. Besides, the two China's largest, most complex and complete Bronze Chariots and Horses are exhibited in the Exhibition Hall of Historical Relics. There are some Chinese and western fast food restaurants near the attraction site, you can have a simple meal at the guide's suggestion on your own.

Then, we will drive back to the downtown area and go sightseeing the Xi'an City Wall. The City Wall was constructed in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) to guard the inner city and now is China's largest and the best-preserved ancient city wall. Surrounded by a 6-meter (19.7 feet) deep moat, the wall itself is 12 meters (40 feet) tall and 12 - 14 meters (40 - 46 feet) wide. The ancients have built archery towers, turrets, ramparts, parapets and so on, making the city is easy to hold but hard to attack. You will know more about its history after the detailed explanation of your guide.

The last stop today is Muslim Quarter. It is a well-known food court in Xi'an managed by the Hui People. There are varieties of local snacks and specialties like Crumbled Unleavened Bread in Mutton Stew, Dumpling Stuffed with Hot Gravy and Osmanthus Persimmon Cakes. You can wonder around at will to have a taste of some special food and pick gifts for your family or friends. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 2 Xi'an - Mt. Huashan - Xi'an
Mt. Huashan Xi'an
Huashan Mountain
After meeting you at the appointed time in the morning, we will take a private air-conditioned car to Mt. Huashan, one of the must-see attractions in a Xi'an private tour. During the 2-hour drive, your guide will give you a brief introduction of Huashan Mountain. Mt. Huashan is famous for its steep cliffs and narrow roads. There are five distinct peaks. The East Peak is the best place to appreciate the sun rise. The West Peak boasts the most beautiful scenery. The North Peak is surrounded by cliffs on three sides and has the dangerous Ear-Touching Cliff which can be passed only by walking carefully against the wall. The South Peak is the highest one where tourists seem to be able to touch the sky. And the Middle Peak, also called Jade Maiden Peak connects the East, West and South Peaks.

Upon arrival, we will take a shuttle bus for about 20 minutes to the North Peak Cableway and then take the cable car to ascend. After getting off the cable car, we will go hiking for about 40 minutes to the North Peak and have a bird's eye view of the splendid scenery. If time permits, you can continue hiking up the Ear-Touching Cliff, Heavenward Ladder, Black Dragon Ridge and arrive at Golden Lock Pass. A single journey of this route takes about 2 to 3 hours. After that, go back along the same way and take the cable car down the mountain. Finally, your guide will escort you back to the hotel and this is the end of your Xi'an private tour.

· The best travel time to Mt. Huashan is from April to October. Due to the safety reason, winter is not suggested. Besides, it is advisable to avoid the public holidays as there will be more domestic tourists and the waiting time for cableway will also be longer.

· According to the travel season and traffic condition, the guide may suggest you set out earlier and he/she will talk over with you in advance.

· Due to the limitation of dining condition in the scenic spot, we kindly suggest you prepare some food as lunch by yourself in advance.
