Day 1 Beijing - Xi'an

Today, you will board on your flight or high-speed train from Beijing to Xi'an by yourself. On arrival in Xi'an, you will be picked up by your local guide in the arrival hall and then start your Xi'an tour from Beijing with a guided visit to the Grand Mosque in Huajue Lane. It is an ancient mosque originally built in the Tang Dynasty that was combined with traditional Chinese and Muslim styles. Inside the mosque, you will see some reliefs and stone tablets with calligraphy from over 700 years ago. 

Then, we will explore the Muslim Quarter with a history of hundreds of years. Besides the retro buildings located aside, the various street food shops and souvenir stores characterized by a fusion of Muslim and Xi'an's features. After that, we will escort you to the hotel booked by yourself.

The choices of transport for your Beijing to Xi'an tour:

By Flight: There are many flights connecting the two cities per day, which take about 2.5 hours. Taking flight is faster but the prices are also higher.

By High Speed Train: More and more people prefer to take high-speed trains as they are convenient, punctual and affordable. The high-speed train from Beijing to Xi'an takes 4.5 to 6 hours. The 4.5-hour trains are very popular so it is advisable to book as early as possible.

By Overnight Soft Sleeper Train: It is a comfortable train which usually set off from Beijing at around 8-9 p.m. and arrive in Xi'an the next morning. The compartments can accommodate two or four passengers and the tickets should be bought individually on real-name. It is also a nice choice if staying overnight on train is acceptable to you.
Day 2 Xi'an

In the morning, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and then take you to a highlight of your Beijing to Xi'an tour - the Terracotta Army, an amazing funerary complex of China's emperor Qin Shi Huang. Built over 2,200 years ago, this complex shows the extraordinary crafts and dexterity of the ancient Chinese artisans by the countless sculptures of warriors that differ from each other, which exhibits the grandeur of Qin's army forces and the powerful strength of this country. Lunch is on your own. There are many fast food restaurants nearby the museum for your choice.

After that, we will drive back to downtown to visit Provincial History Museum, where over 380,000 collections, of which the oldest one dates back a million years, are stored. Lastly, we will take a leisurely walk at the square of Giant Wild Goose Pagoda to get close to the local life.
Day 3 Departure from Xi'an

After breakfast, we will set out for the City Wall, an ancient defensive construction dating back to the 14th century. Being not only a well-preserved heritage, it is also nice place for locals and tourists to hike and overlook the city. Next, we will have a guided visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, also known as Jianfu Temple. It is a historical heritage that constructed by Tang Dynasty in the 7th century as a Buddhist temple, where the Buddhist scriptures brought from India were once stored.

Around noon, we will pay a visit to a local family and have a home-cooked a la carte lunch. Then your Xi'an tour from Beijing comes to an end. In the afternoon, we will escort you to the train station or airport for your onward journey. Bon voyage!
